S0405: Being Safe at Home -- B*TCH IS A BAD WORD with Sarah Wayne Callies
At Talk About It, we cover topics that need more attention and need to be talked about more.
In this special episode, Greg's close friend and fellow actor/ bandmate Sarah Wayne Callies stops by the studio to talk about safety - both on set, and at home. After a brief session talking shop, they get into the substance of a cause so near and dear to Sarah and one that can be very difficult to talk about, domestic violence.
Sarah shares a personal and painful story about a good friend of hers who became isolated from relationships, including theirs, as her husband grew increasingly violent and threatening, leading to a podcast Sarah is producing called "Bitch is a Bad Word." It is so important to talk about this subject, and if you are feeling threatened or unsafe at home, do not hesitate. Talk About It.
The Talk About It podcast is sponsored by Seizures Are Signs - dedicated to educating families on the importance of early and specific diagnosis by providing an assessment to help get the conversation started, educational information, stories from families who have found a diagnosis, links to advocacy groups, and more. For more information, go to SeizuresAreSigns.com. Seizures are Signs is made available by Jazz Pharmaceuticals

So rando i saw this vid posted on stanzi's playlist page. Of course i had to click! Love the message of this podcast! I have MS. One of the many invisible disabilities that exist. Normally i wouldn't comment something like this but seeing you're a smaller channel I'll throw it out there. I've been diagnosed for over 10 years now. I've gone from losing the ability to walk temporarily to being physically normal....mostly lol....but my mind has been srsly affected. I'm always open and willing to share my experience and what I've gone through and still going through. Lmk! Id love to be a guest! Btw Stanzi IS the queen on content and i adore her!!😂😊

I'd never heard of this podcast or host but I'm a huge Stanzi fan! 😊 I also live in Southern California...i had TWO terrible Matts, one i called Evil Matt to separate him from the rest of society, and the 2nd bad Matt i just called Ohio, because that's where he blew in from... And while i know its not the same, i had a chihuahua with a seizure disorder, and i became very attuned to when i thought she was on the precipice of seizing, and there were times i could pull her back, usually by wetting her head and chest and getting her to drink water...other times i would just ride them out with her, always 2 back to back, and then she would be wrung out....only once did she continue seizing, one after another after another, and i rushed her to the vet for a shot of valium, poor girl, but she never slowed down, she was my feisty little Honey Bee, I sure do miss her ❤ But Stanzi-- i can't decide if Satan and Joanne are my favorites, or the Saw series, or the serial killer meet-cute...they are all so good! I'll keep an eye out for any stand-up you do in Orange County... (Sorry for my essay its a prob i have, always writing too much)😂 ~Jen

I just watched a ton of these older videos and I am so glad I did! I have heard of epilepsy, but I never knew so many people had it! I could have a neighbor or a close relative who has it and we just never knew it. So sad! Now that I have watched all of these, including all of the Let’s Play “Who’s Talking About It?” videos, I just might have to watch EVERYTHING else to learn as much as I can about it. It’s a good message you are sending people! We all need to listen!

Since they are bite size, my son enjoys hearing what these famous people have to "say about his life!". My son's seizures have never been controlled though, given the reduction from 30-50 (partial complex) per day, to an average of 15 every 2 weeks that I see. Thank you again!

Hello Sir, Hope you are doing fantastic. I am not sure this is relatable to you. I have reviewed your channel “Talk About It Company” Your video content is amazing and I enjoyed it very much. Look, you have uploaded 157 videos and achieved 289 subscribers and your videos are not viewed and subscribed that much. The numbers should be more than they are now. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target viewers. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will get viral views. So you need to optimize your UA-cam channels & do video SEO organically then your channel will rank & grow very fast and monetization of your channel will be on if you wish. For more details, I can arrange a Zoom meeting at your convenience. Are you interested in improving those issues?
