Reading the owner's manual, in the oil replacement section, it says "Run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature, then shut it off", so I assume that it isn't an issue if the oil is warm (unlike when adding engine coolant, in which case the engine must be cold). Also, the owner's manual for the 2009 model recommends 5W-20 viscosity oil (at least for 1.3 i-VTEC engines), but it states 0W-20 on the oil cap in this video, so check the oil viscosity recommendation in the owner's manual for your specific car. Great video! I was wondering whether it was possible to *FIT* under this car for the oil change, when not using a jack stand, but parking it on a curb gives a bit more space, and I assume the car isn't tilted too much to cause the oil to stay in the reservoir.
