Near enough the same story as yours. First was PS then xbox came along in 2011, when a friend introduced me to it. I wanted to test out different things, that's why I stayed with xbox for 10 years. Mainly because my parents didn't allow me to ever get a PS3 in the 2000's and a PS4 in the 2010's. The 360 sucked and it still does. I'm never on it enough because it just puts me off. The Xbox one is better, but lately after being in charge of myself, I bought a PS4 back in march 2021. All because I saw the completed gameplay of astro bots and fell completely in love again. So now I know which I prefer. Especially since I was born, playstation has always been in the family. So it's something I'm used to and it feels more like home. There's so many reasons why I dislike xbox today though. The fact that they've bought some studios, makes me in a position again where I'll probably be forced to stay with Xbox. I hope not. But anyway, a couple reasons why is that the company and its products don't seem to appeal to me. The games are okay as usual, especially if they're available on ps. But it's just knowing how cheap the controllers feel. Everything about them seems messy. When looking at ps trophies, compared to Xbox achievements. They seem to dump every achievement (even dlc) into the same file and nothing is correctly ordered so it's not easy to find. I'm in a decision as a gamer to whether I should sell all of my Xbox stuff. I'm leaving it for now though because I know if I do I'll have no where to turn to - to switch things up when I get tired of the same thing.
