My g grandfather worked in the mine underneath perran beach. Used to come out of the adit on the side for pasties around 1910. His hamds were rounded by his hammering work. He had blast injuries and his brother was killed by blasting. Hard life then.

Whilst swimming at this lovely place we discovered weaver fish. My wife got "stung". But after an hour or so with hot water treatment, we were back in the beautiful sea.

I used to live in Perranporth so it was nice to see some of my old haunts. Even at speed I can see loads of changes

I can't tell you how much this video means to me. I have a great memory sat on that bench at the back of the cafe, eating a hedgehog ice cream, listening to the gurgling stream and that view back up the valley. Bliss. I adore that place. Thank you for sharing 😊

I visited Liskey Hill in 2018 because I heard that some abomination of a building project was going up obscuring the view from the caravan site. I can see some ot that wreckage on here as you reach the entrance. Tell me its not right across that bottom wall.
