I am a new operator….This process was brought to my attention after I had already flown in a class D restricted area. At the time I was only flying 10-15 feet above my location, in an open field, so I had cancelled the “alert messages” that popped up on the DJI RC controller. When I was done, a friend of mine who has been flying for years, referred to this authorization when I mentioned the alerts. My question is, having violated this air space requirement, is that something I will receive notice on from the FAA? I understand my device transmits an RID, is that automatically monitored or is it used when there is an incident or complaint? I now have completed the TRUST certification and, although not required, I have registered my drone.
You could get a notice from the FAA but given the low altitude I highly doubt it. You should be fine and just do it in the future. A lot of recreational pilots do not know this process so that is why I did the video. Hope that helps. ;)
unfortunately project tab only allows you to export 2d files. So, you don't have the option to combine and export multiple 360 files.
I agree you cannot export it as a 360 file, but you can export the 360 file as a 2D file with the others. You are correct. I should have made it clear that I was only referring to exporting them as standard video files. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment. Hope to see you around.
