    Your anchor idea with the dog leash was brilliant! Does the pool noodle zip tied to your milk crate enough to float it? And if so how much weight before it's officially a rock?

    Cool man I just got mine but question..for the rod holders in the back, are you just using the scupper holes in the back? And for the one in the front, did you have to drill a hole to set the holder into?

    • @firstfromabove
      @firstfromabove Рік тому

      No, there are two dedicated rod holders next to the seat back, one on each side. And the holder in front comes pre-installed on the right side, even with the first foot rest.

    I've never seen a difference in the Tamaracks from year to year...sometimes it is available in different colors like blue or tan and these have different model "names" but it's the same kayak made in the same molds. I've seen them without the rod holders and it is a different "model" but still the same hull so Lifetime uses logic known only to themselves. I have one and I did purchase a thicker seat pad that simply attaches via a strap to the same pad eye you have attached your anchor to. I love the Kayak. A plastic one-gallon paint can fits perfectly inside the circular hatches and is nice and deep. You have to trim off the tabs where the bail attaches and the rubber seal forms nicely on the can rim. Give it a try.
