Feral pig parasites: what’s hidden within?
Feral pigs can harbour and transmit many different types of parasites of concern to humans, livestock, and companion animals. Dr Narelle Dybing, National Feral Pig Action Plan Program Support Officer, discusses some significant parasites (including the animals that are susceptible to infection, symptoms and risk factors to transmission) that have been identified in feral pigs in Australia or are known to infect pigs (wild, feral and domestic) globally.

Please, somebody, help me; I see Dr. Dermatology. Try everything on the market: pills, creams, sprays, lotions, you name it. I try, still itchy; I'm losing my mind; it kills me before parasites. Of course, I just had open heart surgery. I was in hospital for 4 weeks and instead at a nursing home for 2weeks for rehab. I know where I got it. Now I know I got scabies; I can't get rid of them.

I've had these for years. I made a homemade face toner with witch hazel (16 ounce with the alcohol in it) . Remove enough to accommodate: 1/3 cup vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon citric acid ( I use this when I am canning), and 10- 12 drops frankincense essential oil. The bugs don't like it and will emerge. Then you can wash your face with a washcloth. I even put it in my hair and leave on for an hour. It doesn't kill them all, but slows them down. They don't like these ingredients. I bathed in a couple containers of hydrogen peroxide and a full canister of iodized table salt every day for 2 weeks and nearly got rid of them, but somehow they came back. At least it gave me some peace. Sorry for being so long-winded. Oh, I also put tape on the lesions.

Thank you for the very informative video and for all the work you are doing to find a better alternative to treating and diagnosing scabies 🙏 We live in Perth and my 15 year old son developed an ‘itchy rash’ on his bottom and his genitalia about 14 weeks ago. It was unbearably itchy for him so we took him to our GP a week later who originally diagnosed him as having either genital Herpes or shingles. Even though we told the doctor that my son had yet to be intimate in any way physically with a girl (not even kissed) he had a look and insisted it looked like herpes. He then prescribed my son an antiviral herpes med that my son had an immediate allergic reaction to and broke out in severe hives all over his body and his face and neck blew up. We took him back a few days later and the doctor then got him to have a skin swab on one of the infected areas which can back as staphylococcus. The GP then prescribed him antihistamines for the allergic reaction and antibiotics for the staph and didn’t dig any further for the cause of staph. 2 weeks later and my son is now covered in this ‘itchy rash’ from neck to toe with his bottom area and genitalia particularly now red raw from all the scratching. The GP (who actually is a skin specialist apparently) then wanted to get my son a blood test to see if it was any environmental allergies causing this itchy rash and said to come back in 2 weeks . He prescribes just Novasone Lotion . Another 2 weeks pass and my son has been itching himself to death and we go back and there are no signs of any abnormality in his blood tests. But now we have another problem too. My 7 year old son (his brother) now has a sore on his penis and a few on his belly area and the doctor now says it must be Molluscum contagiosum as he couldn’t see how it has spread to his little brother. By this time my son’s bottom rash is looking like a huge wound and his hands are all scaly, white and scabby and he has red dots and lines all over his body. He then tells me to treat my 7 year old with just Betadine and arranges for my 15 year old to have a biopsy the next day on his worst area- his bum cheeks. We go back the next day and he has a biopsy and is told to keep using the novasone cream and prescribed more antihistamines until the results come back for what he is sure is Molluscum contagiosum. 2 whole weeks pass before we finally get the call (which was yesterday) that the biopsy has come back as scabies. All this time it’s been scabies and yet we could’ve been treating it and my son would’ve had some relief by now. I know it’s a process of elimination and hard to diagnose with so many skin diseases but I do feel the doctors were very nonchalant about it from the start as well. It was never taken seriously even though he couldn’t stop itching and was off school for weeks. So 14 weeks after first going to the doctor we finally knew what it was. So yesterday I googled what I had to do and get to treat it and found out we needed to all treat the family with Lyclear ointment. I went to chemist warehouse to get some but they were sold out. So I went to another chemist and they had none in stock and hadn’t for ages. So I called two more who said the same thing and checked their state database to see who had it in stock. And guess what nobody had it . There was a supply issue and apparently that is the only brand of Permethrin you can get. My mum who lives east of Perth and I who live in Mandurah started calling heaps of pharmacies and she managed to find 3 of them with one tube left each and I found one chemist that had one left on the shelf. Nowwww after all this time we have finally treated all of the family from head to toe only tonight and we can’t get any more for the second treatment in 7 days until who knows. And to top it off the GP surgery is now closed until Jan 1 for Xmas so we can’t even get a script of Ivermectin 😔. This has been one big shamozzle BUT at least we finally know what it is!! Tomorrow I start to wash and sterilise everything thoroughly as part of the eradication. Thank you for what you are doing once again and I can’t wait until you guys can come up with an easier way to find and help this disease. It’s been so terrible both physically and emotionally for my child and our family

It's great what you're doing!I am patient in America.. Nnothing works but pllastic bags .....no! They have a jaw that can carry a bird away, rip through bag feed on another type of bug then when you go to get those clothes your eyes can see the scabie that wants you for a host! You can use a magnifying glass at first after a while you will see them. Natural saafe remedies has improved me 50% , I started 2 weeks ago my second order is arriving any day. And I should be free snd my car too. Yep they burrowed into the leather part of my car and the cusshion seats causing holles in seats and tiger like claw scratches on my leather. I hate them I hate them I will be so happy once they are eliminated completely which should be very soon. If I remember I will come back and make an update and tell everybody where I ordered my natural stuff that's I won't hurt pets it won't hurt children and it is good for the environment because it is all natural. When you are infested and you have them in your car you go through more problems then you can imagine. I hope this helps you or helps someone.God Bless.❤

I've had SOMETHING for THREE AND A HALF YEARS!!! I've recently started fighting again using Emuaid, PRID 10% Sulphur and careful fabric control. It SEEMS like there's a change happening but it's still too early to tell. So two weeks after I wrote this review here we are, I switched to treating with Permethrin 5% and oral Ivermectin. Does not seem to be doing any good. What does seem to be helping is antibacterial body wash and equate lice treatment. I've used this combination before but it only clears it up for a few days and then it comes right back.

I think one of the first steps to solving the problem is making treatment more accessible without having to jump through all of the hoops the doctors put you through. Not everyone can afford repetitive doctor visits or repetitive prescriptions. It should not be so difficult for people to receive diagnosis and treatment for something so widespread and contagious. Treatment should be easily available without prescription.

I recently bought a cockatiel from a breeder and it gave me scabies. Have been trying to get rid of them for 2 months now. Using creams shaved all my hairs off my arms with a blade and got some of the eggs out this way also. Don't recommend it unless you clean and sterilise everything thoroughly. I was also throwing the left over seeds from our parrot to our chickens who have now unfortunately contracted the parasite as well. Absolute nightmare! Have tried to spray them and the enclosure but will need a thorough follow-up again soon as don't think I gotten rid of them. Also trying to stay away from there as very scared/paranoid of getting reinfested. Really feeling for you Clara hope you can get better soon, sending you a virtual hug, stay strong. Please don't feel ashmed it isn't your fault try and reach out to someone who can help xx

I got a terrible infestation scalp to toes a couple of months ago from doing hoarding cleanup in an abandoned house. Tea tree oil, aloe vera gel, sulfur soap 3 x daily, get in ears, nostrils, treat scalp too. wash all clothes and bedding/towels daily. These things are super scabies, they are still alive in my car despite the fact that there's nothing to feed on in there and I clean and spray my car daily. The cdc says they can live for 3 days with no host, definitely not true. I think the cdc is wrong about how long you have to treat them, I've had to do it daily for 2 months and I'm just starting to get back to normal, it's exhausting fighting these buggers!

@@lindalewis5222 it turned out to be Morgellons disease, the scabies were apparently infected with Morgellons. In the end I had to get a prescription for 5% permethrin cream, left it on for 20 hrs, tons of things that looked like coffee grounds came out of my skin for days. Then I found red, blue, black and white fuzzballs in a few of the pores of my face. I had to completely change my diet, eating clean, limiting caffeine, no alcohol. I drink alkaline water, I take 6000 MG of curcumin turmeric, Omega fatty acids, iron, zinc, MSM, NMN, oregano w caprilic acid, collagen, biotin, echinecea, daily, and bathe 2 x daily with Epsom salt, essential oils, and a capful of bleach. I have no symptoms of Morgellons that are visible to the naked eye, but under magnification I do shed small black specks, and I get small black fibers on the surface of my skin. If you tho k you had a parasitic skin infection and it doesn't go away, and you have lesions, forgetfulness, joint pain and bad allergies, you may have Morgellons. Get in front of it before it's too late.

Spinosad/Natroba topical was just approved by FDA for scabies April of 2021. Permethrin resistance is real. This new prescription performs better in clinical trials.

I wonder how long more we have have to wait for new effective drug to come out, and cure skin infection by mite Sarcopte because Pharmaceutical Companies are preventing, and it is obvious they can't make money on healthy people. So, Pharmaceutical Companies Sabotage any Curable Medicine.
