What is the short blade you show first?
It’s a transotype knife and blade, but since then I’ve started using NT Cutter and Olfa products instead.

This is some amazing work! Amazing 3D effect! How on gods' green earth you get the "Parlor Dragonmaid" embossing so delicate and precise? I've been doing 3D cards for a while and this seems impossible to me O.o
It takes a lot of practice, to be honest. Good tools are also going to help a lot.
@@SunforgeCards I can imagine. Your skill level is something I'm active training to get to. Is the lettering embossing done with resin? (Your tutorials are a godsent, btw)

Thats awesome! Im actually currently working on an Invocation shadowbox and Im already scared of the gold foil haha. Any tips on that? Keep up the great work!
Thank you! Unfortunately other than taking your time and making sure you always use a sharp blade to avoid the foil separating from the cardboard, I've got nothing else haha.

I don’t varnish my cards. The rarity foil is shiny by itself, and then when I shape and engrave the card I add more surfaces to reflect light, which makes them extra shiny.

Great job! But why not painting the background duplicate layers with black ink?
Thank you! The aesthetic of that method is pretty subjective. In my opinion the black paint contrasts heavily with most artworks, and is more distracting than a double image. What I do sometimes is cover the double image with transparent marker, if the artwork allows me to blend in the double image with the background color; unfortunately this only works for brighter colors on a darker background, and it was the other way around here.
