The most beautiful and amazing photography. ✨My Grandmother had a Crystal Mill photo with an old wooden frame hanging up in the dinning room. Thank You !
Or just go to the beach 🏖
would like to learn more about this Biophoton Device. Can you send me a link to where I can find it if in fact its available for purchase?
bullshit
Who can afford to live in Bogota ,Colombia , salary are 1.00 a hr and to buy in a nice place 50k to 300k ,how does it work.
Well plenty of people live far below the poverty line for starters then sections of the city are set up in zones depending how much you make so I those apartments are not so expensive as quoted. Otherwise I agree the working situation there for hourly and salaried employees is abysmal.
Sir, pardon
Incredible and wonderful work, sue...
Thank you from bookstore steve in leadville, colorado!
So happy you enjoyed the video!
It’s always windy here. Haha
"Please sir, may we have some more..?"
we just recently went to frisco, utah and unfortunately got a flat tire on the dirt road while there...was pretty scary when your out away from everything and your tire goes flat. I got some great photos of the place, but it was sure an experience. Your video is amazing though.
Beautiful works ! Thanks for taking the time and effort to capture these fleeting moment of our history. Some day these structures will be lost = but now they will not be forgotten.
I love your lighting!! Big time!! But the scrapping of the river and painting over it is bad! Has to be natural!!
I presume you are talking about the Crystal Mill shot? The exposure was somewhat in the range of 20 - 30 seconds so the water, with its huge flow begins to feel surreal, as if I did paint over it, but I can assure you the image was not painted over.
Thank you, seriously beautiful!! I don't know what goes into the pictures I just see!! You Know?!
Totally understandable, on first glance it does look surreal. Thanks for taking interest and for your comments!
I love the very last building shown. I'm very drawn to it. and that Crystal mine? cool beyond words :)
Thank you. The last building was at the Animas Forks location a ways back from the main buildings.
ang ganda ng colordo ghost na ito your watching po smile together po
wow manood po kayo
Wow. U really busted your ass taking some really fine photos. Pretty amazed at your packing skills. Thanks for showing me how important lighting can be
Thank you! Lighting is can play a critical role in creating another layer of textural experience to an image.
This is a cool project with great results. I really like that you captured some of the old structures before they fell. (I'd love to see you shoot the mill on Mosquito Pass or Halfmoon Gulch... or Crossons Ghost town for that matter) Have you ever considered coming back to Colorado in fall or winter? I'd bet that your lighting techniques would look amazing coming through the yellow aspen or contrasting warm lighting against cold blue of a snowy night. If you're ever back in town, look up Rocky Mountain 4x4. We'd be happy to help you transport your equipment to remote sites and get you into places you couldn't get to with a stock 4x4. (Holy Cross city for example) Thanks, again, for doing your part in documenting these neat pieces of Colorado history.
Wow this is incredible. Never knew how much art this job took to create the perfect image. Mad respect to you and your crew. A job WELL DONE.
Great Photography! You can't appreciate this area unless you visit it. I was there last weekend and shot an aerial video. You might check it out on my page. Thanks for your work!
Hats off Mike...
increible!!!!! que fantasticas fotografias!! :)
En algún momento la verdadera detrás de las escenas de vídeo se producirá esto es sólo una formación técnica.
Firstly there is no HDR used in my images, the final image is a composite. I can apreciare your dislike of the style, the very cg look of the work is not for everyone. There is something to be said for leaving the edges a bit worn, it had its place.
We used about 40 total final images, total exposures would have been well over 100. Even though we were dealing with a huge color gamut, once you have condensed out each section and cc'd in ps there is no real issue. You do however need to be certain that each one of those cc are equal otherwise you will end up with a grid work of off color pieces all stitched together like an ugly quilt.
:))) Good Job
why each one of the final images has tilted horizons?
Awesome job on an incredible task!!
I know what you are trying to say but if it were 100% true then pros wouldn't spend insane amounts of money on gear. Everyone would be shooting T2i's.
Its the photographer, not his camera. Sure, good gear helps, but its the skill of the photographer bringing the image to life.
Your camera makes good pictures
Beautiful Work! Im a videographer, but still - very inspiring!
awesome..
How many exposures in total? Did you have any white balance issues? Amazing work!
There is no HDR here
all respect for all the hard work, but the end result does not strike it to my liking, To much HDR, all to much polishing in PS, Looks way to much like CG at the end that I could call it at good picture. But hey, that`s just me and my opinion.
Thanks, although it is not light painting in the true sense. Light painting would be using one or two lights and painting the surface so your subject. A great technique but not what I do. I am simply breaking down a larger lighting schematic into smaller bite sized chunks. Each set up is photographed statically then combined later. A photographer that does great "light painting" is Eric William Curry, worth checking out.
I have never lent much credence to the technical nature of the camera, as the end result is what matters. In a perfect world I would have an IQ180 but guess what the shot would be exactly the same, just with a bit more detail. All my shots would be the same, I would just have a bigger camera! Also I put my cameras through some pretty rough situations. The Cannons have been rock solid, be it -10 F in the Adirondacks or soaking wet on the streets of Bogota, they perform, and that does matter!
Beauty, I read your info and want to see your Bangkok picture apixs Bangkok
Real photographers care more about composition, light and form. Gearfags care more about the camera.
Surprised you chose to shoot this on a Canon. with that amount of effort put into every minor detail in a shot like this why not use a phase one IQ180 back or something similar? sorry to get so bogged down in the technical aspect of it all, this is a mammoth undertaking and executed brilliantly, very well done bravo.
amazing work! you are simply the best!
amazingly epic
Wow!!! Always amazing...congratulations!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing..man , congratulations.
Nice work, I'd remove the bulb reflection on the large blue vase from interior shot
Very Nice, Love your lighting!
the images look better than reality, outside the building when they never imagine that the result may be better than reality, is there an introduction of time as your eye could never see .. it seems like some impressionist Hauber like a painting. .. There is something magical in the photographs of Mike.
