this is nostalgic.. I remember watching this back in 2000, probably downloaded em on Napster or mirc, this is the first song I heard them and blown away.I later on dig their music to the rabbit hole, thanks to the internet and all of you guys who shared this back in the days.. love from Malaysia!!

Honestly I think this version is beautiful (even with how raw the sound is and with mistakes present). I like it much better than the studio version. It has a much more emotional feel to it

My son passed away last thursday. This was his favourite album and Get up Kids, the last band he ever watched. He was 16. Hope the band can some time notice this.😔

I’ve been playing this album specifically on repeat lately more than usual therefore I feel compelled to leave my ode (minus this actually being a poem) to The Get Up Kids so here goes… I’ve listened to The Get Up Kids since I was ELEVEN years old! I’ll be 37 this upcoming March and I’ve consistently listened to them all this time and only recently just realized how long it’s actually been. It makes my heart ache a little inside. It’s a good ache though! It makes me really happy, a little sad too I guess, kind of sweaty as well actually which may or may not be weird. But really… so timeless and so so good. I’m thankful to have had discovered them when I did and their music to have made such an impact on me and for me to grow up with their music over the years and decades and to have also been able to share their music with my kids even over the years of all their lives. It’s cool.

I hope I get to see you guys live

Lawrence, Kansas is Emo Mecca. Also one of the best places I have ever been, I think the drummer from get up kids had a coffee shop my friend Tom worked at, they had great coffee but even better Bloody Mary’s. Also you can’t beat a North Lawrence Iced Tea, Hamms

Do you ever discover a band and wonder where they've been your whole life? Their name is familiar but I don't remember anyone I know ever talking about them, so I never looked into them. I've always listened to a lot of similar bands, especially in the 90s when this was released.
