Just a note. There is no Caribbean coast in Barbados. Barbados is, in fact, 100 miles out into the Western Atlantic Ocean. The Caribbean Sea/Atlantic Ocean dividing line runs up the Islands, Grenada, St Vincent, St Lucia Martinique, Dominica etc. Those islands have the Atlantic on their East coast and the Caribbean on their West Coast.

I was fortunate to be able to get on this bridge several months before it was opened to the public. Also was able to get on top of both towers which most will never to get to experience. Hard to believe next year that'll be 15 years.

The wood is beadboard, and it was common in houses built from the late 1600's until lath and plaster became more popular. You cannot tell the age of the house just by the use of beadboard, my friend. That's too disingenuous. You can tell an approximate age of the house by it's architecture, the woodwork, the windows, etc. not by the beadboard.
