To be fair it is very cool. However you can immediately see that there are way better lawn mowers (like the luba 2) BUT it is a very cool concept and i like that it is on tracks. Its a toy. But if it can do what was shown its going to be an awesome toy - in 10 years.

What a load of bollocks. I can’t believe so many people on here have been taken in. This toy won’t do any of what it’s promised. Oh yes, a burglar is going to be really scared of a jet of water with the pressure of a prostatic geriatric! The tiny cutting area is less than half the width and a third of the length of the wheelbase. The battery will not last long enough to fulfil half its duties. Whilst it’s recharging, how will it stop burglars and birds? Get a grip people. This looks like a good idea, but it also looks like a team of 15 year olds designed it! What a joke!

great music theme, but terrible loop/continuation of the composition at 1.06. a trained ear can hear it. I use to encounter this a lot as a composer. One tip i find thats always good solution is a moment of silence or ambience.

not convinced by the cutting job- "leaving behind cleanly cut healthy grass blades" those blades did NOT look cleanly cut if I'm being honest. I think you need a higher power motor if you want a better cut.

You need to rig it with an assault rifle so it can shoot those pesty birds and the occasional mole

Only thing it might not do is handle an edge where there’s a fence or physical border. This has a fence with a brick border that gets around that. If lawn didn’t have it, you’d have to weed whack along the fence. The Worx has a cut to edge feature that attempts to address this, but he treads prevent this from being possible on the sides, unless the treads/gears also cut. It could potentially edge with the front or back. I ah e a garden area that has a 1-2” inch high plastic border. It could potentially straddle that, since it cuts on the left side only or drive over it half way. However, I’d expect that plastic to get nicked up by this guy. Still potentially impressive.

Among other thing, I like that it doesn’t mow the same lines. It seems to mow horizontal one day and vertical another. I think this could prevent ruts from mowing the same way every time. How much grass can this model manage each day? It does a nice job on this little plot from start to finish, but my lawn is a .6 acre. I also get a decent amount of sticks of a decent diameter. It probably avoids them and notifies me about them. It’d be interesting if it could collect them and dump them automatically, or something more creative.
