At independence,if ghana had a humble and meticulous leader like lee kuan yew of Singapore,ghana today would have been like Singapore. While lee kuan yew was busy laying strong foundations for future growth of his newly independent country,and didn’t have time for the problems in his neighborhood Vietnam,Nkrumah on the other hand,from far away ghana,a newly independent country with far fewer infrastructures,priority was not going to work to provide the citizenry with clean drinking,electricity etc,but to travel to Vietnam on peace mission. Ironically,on his way to peace mission in Vietnam his dictatorial government was toppled by the ghana army and police, the one and only coup in ghana masterminded by the army and police,that should inform everyone how bad Nkrumah was. Amidst 99.9percent of Ghanaians lacking access to clean drinking water and electricity,Nkrumah priority was peace mission talks in far away Vietnam.

Let's not countenance or participate in certain words. The freedom of the media should be absolute and for the journalist to carry out his work as expected he or she must be free to even speculate because politicians in ghana are very sneaky and evil. The language we use dictates some of the things that happen. Let the media report the good, bad and ugly. If anybody feels lied about let them put out the facts. There should be no law against journalists.

Dis Akuffo Addo government is really embarrassing and wasteful

Personally, I think soaking friends and family in government is never a bad thing, considering the fact and reality that they're all Ghanaians. However, mismanaging the resources of the respective 10+ regions which as a result leads to millions of people in abject poverty and extreme economic hardship is a crime against even the unborn souls. I understand his claim that "it's legitimate to include friends and family in government". It's very justifiable in the sense that Akuffo Addo went to war [election] against his opponents with the supports of his loyal friends and family, hence the goodwill on the side of the president to reward them. But once again, stealing resources from every region to enrich yourselves is an economic crime which is punishable by death, with jail sentence as the bare minimum. In a matter of all seriousness, this guy called Gabby and Ofori Atta must be arrested and all wealth acquired through mismanagement of the nation's resources be confiscated. If the next government doesn't do this, the leaders will struggle to govern Ghana. The monies stolen would be used to sabotage the next government.

The NPP declared vociferously, before 2016, that a government with family and friends of the president was a BAD thing... twisting into a pretzel to claim one individual, Gabby, isn't against it is, the epitome of the unscrupulous nature of this government and party.

And since she's not being on the board it has ceased to run, hasn't it? 😂. If we want to run a good government as is done elsewhere, should we surround ourselves with people we can't punish in the likely event that they do wrong? For him to admit that theirs is a family and friends government tells you everything you need to know. How would you not be compromised? So he is saying that because it happened in JDM's government, it is okay for them to load the government with incompetence and ineptitude. Oh mother Ghana.
