personally, i do think their relationship is romantic and sexual, just not in the "normal' way. calling their relationship a bromance or purely platonic cheapens it because its not either of those things. what they feel for each other is obviously extremely deep and on a whole other level from just friendship. if this same relationship was exhibited in a male and female instead of two males, people wouldn't question it and debate whether or not they were in love (spoiler alert: they are). neither will nor hannibal experience sexual/physical attraction in an inherently sexual way, as in, they aren't attracted to people because of their bodies or genitals. by saying they are sexually attracted to one another, im not necessarily saying they are physically attracted to one another's bodies. they experience sexual attraction more as being attracted to someone intellectually and connecting with them. this is shown in the scene when will has sex with margot and hannibal has sex with alana. hannibal is having sex to manipulate alana and will is having sex with margot because he's vulnerable and also relates to her. neither of them are having sex because they are sexually/physically attracted to them. id also like to point out that the whole scene is cut together in such a way it looks like will and hannibal are having sex with each other in certain moments. will also orgasms when he sees hannibal (in wendigo form). hes basically ejaculating at the thought of hannibal. i dont think the idea of will and hannibal actually having sex with each other is far fetched. they are deeply attracted to one another's mind and intellect. if they were to have sex with each other, it would be to connect their bodies and minds simultaneously. it would be "making love", rather than just plain sex. them killing the red dragon together was like sex for them because their bodies connected and were in sync with each other like nothing before. I do think their relationship is sexual but not physical with genitals or anything. So murder can be considered sexual and I think the ending of s3ep13 shows it. They are doing a dance with each other and killing together, it's very intimate for them. It finally shows the love they have for each other and the joy they get from killing together. I don't really know how to explain it better than this other than saying that murder can be sexual without the victim being sexually assualted especially if it's two killers working together. (tho i don't think it's common but idk) I'm not an expert at all but this is just what I know from watching videos about crimes and stuff.

Bro, the thing is, we all know that mads and hugh are not involved in a romantic or physical way, we know they're actors that are bringing this two characters to life and thinking something else besides that its whats disrespectful. However, its quite dumb to say there's a "complex relationship" between the characters, just to excuse the fact that they are purposely not making them gay. Its quite obvious that if the two characters actually fell in love in a romantic way, the story would make more sense. Of course he should give the person a serious answer because it is a serious question about the character he's playing, if he thought that its disrespectful to expect him to play a gay character if that was the case, then that's on him, not the person. We, as the public, are allowed to interpret the story in any way that makes sense to us.
