I live in Washington, I planted 3 of them a year age, two are growing just fine the other is growing fine as well but browning on the inside. The weird thing is, the one that is browning, is about two feet taller than the others. Is it lacking some kind of nutrient?

I have 'Taylor' and honestly not really a big fan, the thing is growing vigorously and all, but its color does not strike me, rather is a bit anemic looking, 'Medora' is more pleasing to my eye, also want to try 'Woodward'!

Would it be possible to grow one of these indoors as a houseplant? I'm in deep south Texas and it feels like it'll be nearly impossible to grow one of these outside. Aside from the heat, humidity and sun, we get really crazy winds here, which I've read can be really tough on a bleeding heart. I just purchased some roots and I'm trying to figure out what I can do with them. I guess for now I can throw them in a planter in a shady spot on my back patio, but just trying to understand my options long term. Bleeding hearts were one of my grandmother's favorites and I've wanted to have some ever since purchasing my house.

@@Pokeman_official1 Ok, thanks. Actually though, in my case, I have to plant it in a pot because the landlord requires that. So, I hope the tree will thrive anyway.

I planted two weeping Yoshino cherry trees and a taller upright Okame cherry tree close together. The upright looked weird and out of place next to his buddies, so I made it weep too using almost invisible black wire. Don't know how long that's going to last, if the wire kills the tree I'll replace it with one that weeps for real, but so far it looks good.
