The glass moldings are called bakelight . If you have to do any work on them be careful as it’s not good stuff to get inside of you. You can Google it to find out more information. Happy Christmas and all the very best for the new year. Tim.

Bob that was very interesting. I wish I had done something similar. I can remember getting my chassis and body and engine. But not sure of the dates. Lots of other parts I got from swap meets. I did import wheels intake and carbs. But shipping duties and tax, makes that very expensive. I also did an apprenticeship and only completed two years out of the three. As my boss would want me to work instead of going to college. The down side was if you didn’t get your paperwork you would be paid at a lesser rate, as unskilled. Solved the clutch disengagement issue last night! The old Ford steering column is 1 1/2" O.D. and the new one is 1 3/4". The extra 1/8" width was enough to prevent the clutch pedal from depressing fully down. Removed the clutch pedal and cut 5/8" from the right side. Voila! Drove it to Lou's today after setting my toe-in and did a toe-in on the Anglia. The test drive went well! 🤗 Bob

Yeah ... Lowes and Home Depot have only the most common hardware available ... and frequently not what I need. We had a nearby Ace Hardware which had a massively better selection. Sadly, it went out of business. A nice employee at Lowes once directed me to a "not so close to home" hardware store that did have what I needed. Fortunately, there is now a newer local hardware store which again has an excellent selection of hardware. I do my best to give them business whenever I can.

Sounds like full tune up now bob. When I was 16 some 50 years ago. We had a sun tach in the garage I worked at. It was a fantastic bit of kit. There was 6 others working there but I was the one that used the sun. Every year when my boss and his wife went up to Scotland I tuned there rover V8 with it. If he didn’t say anything when he got back I knew I had done a good job. Take care Tim.

I seem to recall the E93A had a vacuum wiper motor. Which in UK weather was 10% less than useless.

Great tip on making a marker. I’m wondering what you trim from the quarter windows could be used in the back window. Any way take care both and if we don’t get another vid before Christmas have a good one. Cheers Tim.
