Racing Two Events In One Weekend!
We started off the weekend by going to Newport Raceway to get in Pure Street. Ended up putting together a small shootout. The next morning we went to George Rays and entered their free entry Daily Driver class. Our buddy also got in 7.50 index and brought home some money

We took "Cowbell" to the 727 Motorsports 2nd Annual CARnival Ride event to compete in Cheap Street with our buddy Tanner and his Z28 "Beth". The class had pretty simple rules. What the hell are u guys doing sitting there when the light is green. U go on the last yellow, by the time you cross the start line it'll be green. A lot faster reaction times this way, not to mention leaving the other guy sitting there😊

Cam only with a nitrous plate kit. It's a very simple setup but it works good

@stevestauff2220 yep! I built the 4L60 at our shop. It's got some basic sonnax parts but nothing crazy. Circle D 4000 stall. And the 10 bolt is stock as far as I know. I was told it had 3.90 gears but I've never been in it

George Rays Dragstrip in Paragould AR. It's on the complete other side of Arkansas from Oklahoma unfortunately 😅 If you ever get a chance to come down, do it. I see out of state people say all the time this is one of their bucket list tracks

It's always a good time at George Rays. It's a different atmosphere than most tracks lol August 23rd is the next big event

I appreciate it! The black one is faster but we're trying to get the silver one there too! I've had my car 7 years, she's only had hers a couple years but she's making faster progress with hers than I started out with mine.

We were there. Made it through the rain. Was so glad the race did happen. We drove an hour and a half and had a great time. We were right across the track in front of the yellow railing. We will be back.

Yeah the 60ft is about 2 tenths off what it use to be but that's alot better than the previous 4 tenths that it was lol
