STORY TIME EXPLANATION!! Lighter started a mercenary group and effectively had a "found family" that he grew extremely close to. They all died in a battle when they bit off more than they could chew, except for Lighter. He then went to a loan shark and took out a loan to support the little girl, who was most likely the daughter of "Dane", one of the dogtags that's bloodstained in the video, so that she could still live a life outside of fighting. The loan shark then effectively put Lighter into slavery to pay back the loan. Lighter fought for an unknown amount of time, but likely years. One day, Big Daddy found Lighter fighting, and paid off his debt, effectively buying his life and owning him. Lighter thought that he'd just be going from one ring into another, fighting as a slave to pay off his new debt to Big Daddy. Instead, Lighter was brought into the gang, and essentially told him "You fought to survive, now you'll fight to keep those around you alive". Even though Lighter isn't owned by Big Daddy, he found a new family in the Son's Of Calydon, and now fights to keep the gang alive. Effectively, he's the enforcer and main muscle of the gang, and acts almost as a WMD. Nobody wants to mess with them, because they have Lighter. Just his presence alone is enough to keep other gangs away. Big Daddy is always sending Lighter on secret missions to keep the gang safe, but he actually does pay him, because Lighter isn't a slave to him, he's family Also towards the start, you can see the little girl give him the red ribbon. Seems fine to me. I think they want us to use a crit rate 4th disc instead of AP. She gest 220 base AP, you can get to 300 easily with substats. Ice anomaly effect increases crit dmg so it makes sense that she synergizes well with crit rate. AND her new artifact set buffs crit dmg when you have enough AM. Disc 6 is AM and disc 4 is CR for her To me she works like an attack unit that can crit her attacks and get anomalies on top. Playing her on an Ellen team should work really well, clearly indicated by the fact that they changed her passive to need a support. Lycaon will be great with her, he shreds ice res

Ragunna looks amazing! The character designs are peak and I can't wait for the first limited 5 star gun user! A good amount of people dislike the teaser because they prefer WuWa being closer to PGR rather than the vibrant and colorful world of Genshin but I can't tell you how hyped I am for 2.0! I got tired of Jinzhou and Ragunna is the perfect change of pace I needed. What character are you most looking forward to? Lighter is Skipper. With Lycaon being basically a free choice, and getting better with dupes (which everyone will get at some point from losing 50/50) there's not need to get him anymore. These changes are honestly bad, she was interesting but now she's just an attacker with the anomaly icon.

A lot of the discussion is pretty pointless right now. A lot of people are upset in the moment but obviously they're gonna be coming out with an S support character and more than likely all of this hate for the change is gonna go away. It's so typical for Hoyo games that for the most part they do everything intentionally for future releases, it's happened so many times.

I personally like the change a bit. It no longer makes Lighter a must have to build a Premium Miyabi Team which helps saving up for when Miyabi releases

Core passives definitely makes characters better but its not the end all be all of the character or team. You can still run Miyabi,Lighter,Burnice. If you build a good Miyabi her not having the core passive shouldn't be the end all be all of how she preforms. Run ice damage or Attack in her 5th slot with 4 an 6 classic Anom master or prof an she should be fine. With Lighters Buff to Ice damage. Relying on core passives just limits your ability to team build. Like for example Rina,Nicole,Lucy are 3 supports who can go on any team depending if you need a Attack,Defense shred, or pen shred all of their core passives dont matter in their team comp cause they give their buffs no matter what and arent on field units. For another example you can Run Ellen Ceaser Lucy. The attack buffs An crit danage buff you get from Ceaser an lucy plus a shield is better in my opinion than Ellens Core passive. Later on in the game when we get more ether units Nicoles core will be more viable like Rinas is at the moment with Yanagi an Haramasa coming out. So these seemingly useless core passives they have will be better for the future characters. So now just slap them on anywhere all the supports besides Soukaku are S tier units. An not to mention if you have Ceaser she already does an amazing job at stunning and gives more for your team than Lighter potentially with a shield, damage boost, defense shred with her held attack, amount of Daze she does in combos an Parrying etc. Lighter is basically a Niech if you dont have Koleda Imo. Or if you like an Off field Stun type unit.

No one talk about her anomaly dmg. The frostburn dmg are like assault and shatter, one instant of dmg. The multiplier is 2 time the burn ! When I have seen her element, I was thought that it was an hybrid element, doing some thing we know but with a new thing attach to it. And its totally the new element. The Frost element is a fusion of Ice (and technically frost taken Ice dmg bonus et res) and fire. But on the road the devs "changed" or maybe more drop (disable in her kit but in the data) the DoT attached to it and just do a shatter but bigger (shatter 500% - frost 2000%). Miyabi rely on CRIT and ATK not AP (118 base ... ridiculous) but she need to trigger her anomaly and disorder. She is mechanically hybrid but just a little bit, but after this change, her AP 118 -> 220 at base (anomaly dmg x2 now). Now can she do "decent" anomaly and disorder dmg added to her raw dmg (mid dmg from what said some theorycrafters) that can be a great buff right ? And So, from what I understand, we have a true hybrid dps, in dmg and mechanically, its really cool, right ? right ?! But she seems to have some anomaly mastery problem and the only way to fix that is to increase her crit conversion into anomaly buildup over 100% ... so I dont know where devs will go. If not her kit seems butchered.

Hear me out. Miyabi, Lighter, Soukaku. Build dps soukaku with anomaly mastery on soukaku to proc disorder. Might be cope but hear me out

They did this 100% so people will pull for the next S rank support (which will probably be the next banner after Miyabi/Harumasa) lol To me this also means that Yanagi & Miyabi *are* meant to be played together, at least for now

The CRIT conversion change makes it so she needs less crit rather then more to max out her anomaly buildup rate from the stat. Before you needed 100% crit rate to gain the 60% anomaly buildup Now you need 80% crit rate to gain the 72% anomaly buildup I am also pretty dissapointed at the change from anomaly to support in her core passive Obviously this is all subject to change since its nowhere near finalized at this point, buit the way it is right now her kit is built around triggering disorders to give her frostfall stacks, but to trigger consistent disorders you obviously need to pair her with another anomaly character. Changing this requirement to be support or teammate instead makes it so you are way more limited in options UNLESS you get her M2 which allows her to be a hypercarry that bypasses the disorder requirement. It isn't just making it so you can't play her with lighter anymore, but now you basically have to play her with yanagi or a support character to play her at M0 If they would have changed it to anomaly or support character instead of teammate or support, that would have been a great way to allow her to have flexible hypercarry or disorder teams. Kinda feels like the change is to pressure people to M2 her.

With this change, unless they do something like Ellen re-run on 1.4, most people will skip Lighter in a beat, and will get him on a re-run

so if you want to maximize the effect of the disk, you need to use 3 ice agents including miyabi..... miyabi, soukaku is a fit but ellen or lycaon? definitely fighting over field time.

what is going to kill zzz is anomaly like i understand this is the meta but the fact their kits are just so absurd compared to attackers is kinda sad since this is my first hoyo game and i guess this is a recurring thing in hoyo. I do wanna know what the incentives are of pulling for attackers? when anomalies can do it all, you dont need to run a stunner it's not very ideal towards an anomaly team since having two anomies can just proc disorder and inflict alot of daze. Jane kinda killed attackers with her assault criting since her basic build up is the same as a zhu yuans full charged combo. and its not even the fact that anomaly is inconsistent since they just do a butt lot of damage.

depending on my luck i might be breaking f2p on miyabi xD i started during qingy banner, got her then got burnice twice at low pity plus weapon at soft pity and now i got yanagi on the next single pull after losing 50/50 + her weapon after 13 pulls. im pretty sure my luck is over now 😂 also yeah, i told gachasmack to do tower. im getting nailed at floor 15 lol but i dont have lvl 60 characters yet. (im lvl 48 atm)
