So wonderfully grateful to have known Cheryl the years, the many years, that I did. I never would have thought that the last time I would see her this side of heaven was at my younger goddaughter's wedding in New Hampshire, though I am again grateful for having stayed in touch with her in the three-plus intervening years since then. She was indeed a gift to many. She leaves a tremendous legacy. Now she is among the glorious cloud of witnesses. Many thanks to all of you in California who helped her walk the final steps of her earthly journey.

Whatever happened to the Andresen family that used to run the camp in the mid-1960s? I was friends with Jimmy Andreessen and Jeannie Andreessen. I forget the father's name I think he was a radiologist. Maybe someone knows. Come to think of it I think they were from Boston.

Narnia was one of my favorite activities at camp. As John put it, the Narnia books mean so much more now as I grow older and learn more about the nature of God: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
