That wasn't necessary at all. For needing water they spent a lot of time needlessly busting out windows. That was a bigger douchebag move than the person parking the car where they did. There was plenty of room to get to that hydrant. Now most likely tax payers will have to replace the windows on that car.

While the car was probably parked illegally the fireman is still a twat. Easily could of ran the hose in front of the car as it wasnt blocking the hydrant. Entitlement is running rampant these days 😒

That firefighter was definitely wrong for doing that. It was absolutely unnecessary. Not to say that the person who parked there was right but come on man. He could have easily connected his hose directly to the hydrant with absolutely no problem, it was actually foolish of him to do that because by doing that not only is his hose going to have to make a sharp turn to get to the hydrant but it’s also going to be sitting on all that glass he just busted and left there. All he was doing was trying to “teach that person a lesson” but he needs a lesson of his own in my humble opinion

First I think that cars owner is an idiot and parked where they shouldn’t have ! However I am no one that should not respond I think ?? I say that because you are depending on the type of hydrant your city or town uses there are 2?and sometimes three outlets on them and if you pay attention this one has 3. That means there are other positions to run that supply line other than doing this . And sense there are alternatives that makes the fire dept responsible for the damages. The cops can hang for a bit and hand out the citations for this illegal parking , but cut and dried the FD is gonna have to put roughly 1000 dollars worth of glass back in the vehicle. Go ahead and tell me how wrong I am and how I don’t know what I’m saying and even that I am an idiot !! And now let me introduce myself I am a station lieutenant and used to be one for a major metropolitan FD. Been in the fire service in one fashion or another for just over 35 years , I have 2 masters degrees , one in. Emergency medicine, and one in fire science! Every sense people saw this done in the movie back draft truck monkeys every place are just waiting to see if they will be able to this to someone’s car !! That plug is actually out front of that vehicle and the car isn’t really blocking it that bad , why you chose to use the piece of equipment you did is between you and the fire chief or bat chief.. every engine or truck has a window breaker in it !! All of our guys carry one in their turn out coat pocket along with a spanner wrench.! And just why in the Sam hell is this fireman in a tshirt and shorts ?? This department seems pretty disorganized, and hasn’t one shred of dedication or integrity. So now go ahead and send the hate .. many of you will look at this and realize I’m right but send the hate anyway… that’s fine really !! they did that because they wanted to. all the engineer had to do is pull up 10 feet less and he would have have a clear shot to the hydrant and he would have had more room to work the controls and monitor the gauges on the side of the truck. Why is baldy not wearing bunker gear? He's totally out of uniform. As a fireman he is completely ineffective.
