Modified Yoga: Mobilizing Your Joints
I remember this "character". He was in charge of the resident anatomic pathology program at TGH in the early 1990s. As a first-year resident, we were told there would be a 2-week orientation program in July to review the basics of immunostaining/fixation etc. Yet there was nothing organized and when questioned Butany couldn't explain what happened. Then there was the time that as a resident you were required to review autopsy reports with the staff person before they would be formally submitted. I told Butany I had like 6+ autopsies backlogged (because of the apathy of most staff who either were "too busy" or couldn't be bothered reviewing them. Butany told me that he would come in on a Thursday morning to help me clear some of these cases. When I told him I had a lecture/rounds with another staff each Thursday morning-he told me they weren't compulsory and I could skip it and we would do the autopsy reviews. When I came in on Thursday morning Butany literally SCREAMED at me as to why I wasn't at that Thursday morning lecture--unbelievable. And when I responded back that he had told me it was okay to skip those rounds he suddenly realized he had said that but DIDN"T apologize whatsoever. I can cite many other instances of how truly awful this program was (and likely still is) I dropped out of this ridiculous program and found great success in another residency program--but it was the staff including Butany that led to me leaving
I will forever be grateful for Dr. David! He performed the Ross Procedure on my heart in 2016. Today is my heart anniversary! 8 Years After Open Heart Surgery - Saved My Life at 39 Years Old ua-cam.com/video/BHRMzxTaG1M/v-deo.html Thank you Dr. David for everything.
He saved my life twice! He does magic❤
Thank you for operating on me.

Dr. Chung is an amazing surgeon. Unfortunately, when Dr. Chung opened me up, my heart surgery was more difficult than anyone imagined. I am still recovering, but Dr. Chung made sure a whole team of specialist are looking after me. I live hundreds of miles away from Toronto & she did not send me home without her. She could have easily assigned me to another surgeon. She cares about people, no matter who you are. It is inspiring to see women like Dr. Chung. I had a big family and was in an abusive marrige. I strived through to complete my degree & start my own business. It is the end of my career now, but I did it with four children in tow. My resume' is amazing as I proudly became President of my Chamber of Commerce. Women out there who are facing obsticles, feeling inadquit, struggling -hang in there. We can do it and make a change. Our community deserves it. Be a leader. Dr Chung is a heart surgeon with a big heart! She is an inspiration. If I can add anything, it would be volenteer. It is amazing what rewards you will discover!
Dr. Heather J. Ross is truly one-of-a-kind. No question about it.

Horrible doctor. Hates Jehovah’s witnesses and refuses to treat them. Dr. Mark peterson operated on me instead with great success. Also dr victor chu performed a quadruple bypass on me and he was awesome too
I wish he would have informed us on what genes had the mutation
Dr. Kalra is one of the most accomplished Interventional Cardiology across the world saving many precious lives.
In 1997 my then 39 year old husband had an aortic dissection . We had no idea who Dr. David was just that he was the only surgeon who could perform the surgery. Dr. David did the surgery and my husband had a full recovery. That was 25 years ago . I remember sitting in the waiting room and someone asked me who was the surgeon . When I said it was Dr. David , a voice said ,we call him Jesus. I didn’t give it much though till after I spoke to Dr. David when he finished the successful surgery. Gods only son sent to earth to save man . Now it made sense to me . What a blessing this man is too us and many others. Thank You ❤️
the man that saved my life
Nice
Best surgeon ever, and such a caring gentle man. He repaired my mitral valve 5 years ago, major surgery, but quick recovery due to his great skill.
Ask Arnold about the Ross procedure I'm sure he say no way
I had open heart with Dr tirone David he is totally the king of hearts ♥️ while working at York University I heard Dr Cusimano was going to do a talk. I attended and had the honour of meeting this amazing surgeon. In short we have the best surgeons ever
Thank you Dr David. I had you operate on me 15 yrs ago. I recall when I was told it was a shock not ever having surgery to open heart. I remember my family Dr. Ein saying he put my case in with Dr. David also said he was best of best and to read up on him and said whenever dr David’s office calls to be sure and go to appt. I at this point half heartily started to read up on this king of hearts the more I read the more I felt blesssed. When I mentioned his name ppl would say your in the best hands. Day of surgery I went in full of trust and hope. When I woke up this gentle giant was sitting by my bedside and said look at the size of scar hardly anything there. I had no pain and was out in 4 days. No issues. I now volunteer for patient support and seeing them back to normality is a gift I met amazing ppl through this journey one in particular. Thank you Dr David for all you done.
Strange after vaccines so many people now have problems with heart
I am cardiac perfussion student

There's an Episode of Star Trek TNG I saw as a child where the doctor treats a heart condition of a patient referring to it as 'Minor medical treatment' and back then I thought to myself how incredible it would be to have level of medical advancement. After watching this video, it feel like we're well on way to that goal.
Dr Terrence Yau you are Great Masha Allah. He performed Heart Transplantaion Surgery of my father at Perter Munk Cardiac Center TGH. My father had great experience at UHN during his uncomplicated post Heart Transplant stay at UHN Alhamdullilah
My name is Giovanni Tamburrini: The year may have bee 1991 I was operating a metallurgical company that it took me 15 years to bring to a decent level( I am still managing it today at 77) when an infection struck me hard creating a scar on my pericardium, I was 47 then, I could barely walk, consider if you had never been sick, and now they tell you you need a heart operation, knowing that your blood pressure is good, no cholesterol, no heart decease related problems yet they have to open your chest to fix you, my problem could not easily be detected at the time with the equipment we had, so Dr Tyrone decides that the right choice was to open me up and remove the scar, the choice was right I am still here today with a heart that beats like a clock, THANK YOU DOCTOR!!
The best of the best and a Mentch!
