uh oh you have changed nina master from durandal to mygas, uh oh you should have first talk to durandal so he teach nina backhand skill now you will need to put someone on on durandal, and make them lvl up 3 levels, durandal teaches backhand only to someone who got 3 level ups under him. and actually having this skill is required for opening other master hondara
Whoopsies! 😅 I had a terrible feeling when I changed Nina over that that would be the case. I'll try to fix that next time!
and not forget get backhand skill from durandal, very helpful in next main quest

@@HelenEPoe so yea basically when you start next quest for training the guy, you can hit him with this skill and he will always survive with 1 hp, then when he low hp he always defends, and if you attack him when he defends he always gets +1 def stat. and every point of lost hp give boost for his hp growth. also do not forget to take off your armor before fight him so he can do more damage to you, because the hp damage he does to you is increasing his power stats. you will want to prolong training fight as long as possible so the guy get more stats.
@@HelenEPoe also one more trick witch this training guy, at start he gives you 1000 moneys and ask buy weapon and armor to him, but when the first training starts you must say to him you wasnt able to buy, he will give 1000 money more, then you can go return to wyndia buy strongest sword for ruy, because this guy using same weapons and armors as ruy basically. also try get him best armor
so there is this bridge where you fight stallion, behind it is mountain and behind that mountain you can find tree with crow hit it with peco

@@HelenEPoe well there is one recomendation for sure, return to arena and go to pub, where balio and sunder left your first time tied with drunk guy, so basically this guy is the best master for peco. he will ask you do 30 battles in a row withot sleep. you can go to starting region to fight low level enemies though. This master gives massive amounts of HP for level up. Peco have unique ability he is regenerating 10% of his hp every turn, so he is who benefits from massive hp pool the most. Its very recommended to put peco onto this master from lvl1, you already got some levels though but still very good. This master is almost the best one in entire game, you can probably put garr on him too.
@@HelenEPoe actually all masters available now is not a top tier, exept master Fal on arena for Peco. you need to think what stats you want basically, if you want speed then Dlonzo can help, also she gives +5% hit rate. if you want lvl up nina put her on mygas, but if you want better results you can put her on hold and get much better master later in game. Bunyan can be good for Ruy but you cannot spend too much lvls on him because he steals 2 ap from lvl ups, and Ruy need many AP for dragon transform.
@@HelenEPoe currently the best master available for Ruy is fisherman Gioto, you can find him on secret beach in next region you will need 2500 fishing points though, so its probably time to fish. he lowers main stats a little but he gives Massie amounts of both hp AND ap, whichs is Ruy both need very much. he need more ap to be a dragon longer and also dragons hp is depended on original ruy hp, and all breath attacks do more damage if he have more hp.
so ye about momo always missing, she have worst hit rate in game, but you can get artemis cap to add 15% i think, also Dlonzo apprentice can get hidden stat +5 to hit rate
She always seems to miss at the worst moments! 😂
so ye also fun fact did you know real name for peco and garr is actually pecoross and garland. they named peco an garr in english version because this is 4 symbols, and in original japanese version they names was 4 japan hieroglyphs long
Ah! I knew I'd heard the name 'Pecoross' somewhere! I'll have to post some photos of my BoF artbook at some point, the character design in there is gorgeous!!
i played this game like 15 times from start to end, also did some challenge runs and mods, like hardmod and randomizer, so i know all hidden stuff in here 😁

so you about equipment you can actually change items during battle, just press down start selecting item for usage and then in this menu press up long you can get 2 buttons to show press equip and you can change items of current charater, so you can change places during battle for items that someone currently need like you can change ring of ice to someone and then use nina iceblast to attack them, yes you can attack your own party with ice spells and with ring of ice its basically same as healing

so about faerie master in the lake, you fisrt must need to help faeries village defefeat dolphin only then you can unlock this master, also you need to help her return jewel stolen by crow. you must use peco to hit tree where crow sits, you can find it at back side of mountain thats on road to arena after long bridge

surprisingly enough ygdrassil is practically the worst possible master for pecoros, and probably one of the worst in the entire game. The main reason is that he lowers elemental fire stats, so characters under him as maser will get 50% more fire damage. And the peco itself gets more fire dmg because he is (LuL) plant. so in ygdrasil he will get double damage from fire. and there is many enemies that getting fire spells he will be completely annihilated later

so about ring of ice it actually not just protects vs frost its actually absorb it, so if someone attack you with ice element you not only not get damage but actually get healed by it. its actually NOT worth putting it ruy unless you not change him to dragon, because dragon transform actually changes elemental resistance stats, so ring of ice will not work on most of dragons anyways.

fun fact this fountain chest actually contains 3 items, if you leave and enter area you can see chest will be closed again, you can get wisdom fruit if you time is between 5 and 6 sec, and get multivitamin if below 5 sec, but those items not super rare and not need to bother to getting them, but fun fact if you get all 3 and leave enter area the chest will be finally opened forever.

so i dunno if you fight Garr already, 3rd round of arena, but you probably know that fight is unwinnable, BUT there is in retroachievements site community for this game exists hiddent rare achievement - survive this fight for 15 turns, the thing is that his stats grows exponentially every turn so after like 6-7 he will be one shot ruy no matter what lvl and gear. altough seems hard its still fun challenge non the less. i myself beaten this after some tries.

oh so you say you already recorded part 9? prob this advise will be too late but you can try to learn super duper ultra useful ability from Patrio, the 3rd boss of hall of flame in arena this ability is dope and can be very very helpful in volcano dungeon patrio will use frost strike after he is at half hp you only have like 12 chances to learn this though or something like that, because he will run out of AP after that
@@ed_gorod oh I missed that one today! Patrio really gave me a run for my money though! I think I should’ve probably grinder a few levels before the tournament 😅
@@HelenEPoe well if you really want levels you should have killed in hall of flame not the 3 bosses but the dodai, you can kill first boss claw and then when you start battle agains the mage you just use momo equip with ice crysm or use nina with iceblast magic on enemy bodybuilder who holds platform in lava. you will get 3000 xp from defeating him, and if you found ivory dice item in momo tower you can use it on dodai and get whopping 6000 xp, it can boost someone right onto lvl 19-20 directly altough it seems like you already beaten hall of flame so its too late now

it the forest with slimes, you can find very rare green slime (goo titan) you can steal life shards from it, and also learn very strong rare skill - timed blow, this skill do damage on to hp directly, through any armor, the only thing is that it damages you too

actually dlonzo is very very useful master she can teach steal skill, the only way to get items from evemies on before rei returns, which is very long from now, i always put steal on ruy because he is always in party, so i can get super rare items from bosses
I love the ability to steal in all RPGs! I think we got a good item early on when stealing in the spooky manor!
it is possible to apperentice dlonzo in first meeting but you was needed to collect every weapons from the start of game, including melted blade that you can get at the prologue as a dragon from there very first enemies, and you need buy every weapon in shop and also buy silver knife from manillo fishing. so then you can get exactly 15 just exactly in the momo tower puzzle last 2 chrysm momo weapons

@@HelenEPoe sorry to say it, but you messed up not by selling weapons but even earlier, i watched your first episode, you did not picked up melted blade, its a secret rare weapon for ruy that exists in only 1 place in game, right at the start of game you must have searched the guys you fire breath, i saw your episode 1 you checked left guy but ignored right guy who actually had the sword. Dont worry too much though after the arena and balio/sunder questline ends you get access to next regions and also all previous regions, you can buy more weapons from new shop and old shops, all combined you can get 15 weapons. The only thing you missing is stealing from arena bosses and stallion but they not have super rare items so its ok

@@HelenEPoe do you remember crystal with timer in momo tower? you hit it with nina and then you can run outside through 2nd floor, you must then hit 4 crystals that are outside, if you do it when timer have between 6 and 7 seconds, you can get super duper cool ring of ice

@@HelenEPoe i like this game very much. i saw in last episode you got nina under master durandal, this master gives one very important skill after someone got 3 levels under him, this skill will be very very important in next region quest. you still can do without it but it makes a lot easier, you will need to train one guy and he get stats if you beat him, but you will want to prolong fight for 20 turns for good training, there is where backhand skill goes - it cannot kill target, always leave 1 hp

Good part this one! 💕 Check pc every morning, there's some good messages most of the time. Sometimes to get more convo u need to walk a few times near the character. Check every character for bits of info. Also u can open the parts of the city by checking if they are opened. Mae looks awesome! Awwwwesome. 😍 U can do double jumps while check roofs all the time or going underground, see more adventures and check all parts of the city. 😉 U can check ur room and other floors for more options. And u can take the pretzel but when the time is right and u jumped high. 😉
