Thank you and so... that was before I installed the smittybilt bowless. That top in the video was on the Jeep when I bought it, however I know it's not stock because this TJ was a Sahara, and those had tan colored tops, as I'm sure you're aware of. It did have a similar quality to the smittybilt bowless I got later on, so I would look into that brand. Although it IS a mass produce brand, they are definitely nice.

I also did the hoochie coochie and it's was nice and hotter than hoochie coochie normally should be.

Because it definitely is H13. Maybe the company you bought from sent you the wrong bulbs?

the box they came in also said they were h13 so they couldn’t have been the wrong ones

Are you talking about the rubber cap looking piece that came on the back of the headlight assembly? If so, I believe I didn't, which I wouldn't recommend. However, if you do I believe you would have to cut a hole of slit in that to make it fit through. And probably this why I didn't end up using it.

I did however after watching your vid and another I decided to hack up the dust cover so it would fit the damn head light. I live in Oregon and we get a lot of wet and so I thought "safe than sorry" if it doesn't work ok I'll just get another LED. I assume that you have had no problems with yours

What I didn't mention is that I was hoping the electric shock would kill me. I guess I should've put a disclaimer in the video to "not do that at home"

Mainly, I did this because the stock coil rail is a common failure point for the 4.0L. However, it is supposed to create a more efficient and performance spark. If anything, I'd look at it as reliability over anything. I build for reliability and practicality.

Smart move. I'm looking to take the rack off to have my XJ painted. Hopefully all the original screws/nutserts are in good shape! Keep up the great content.
