You didnt mention you have to do a custom bios update.. and the people who attempting to do this already wrecked their $1200 GPUs lol now its a $1200 paperweight! This is an experimental thing.. might as well just buy a newer 4070Ti with 16GB for $300 more after selling the 2080Ti.. the time and effort and risk isnt worth it doing this, otherwise it would have been a thing that everyone did if it was that easy.

This board is seriously impressive. It's packed to the brim with components in every nook and cranny. I wouldn't be surprised if it cost more to make than a 4090! Mate there is SO much more work involved then just swapping the chips.. You don't show anything about the gpu bios? If that works at all it will only access the original amount. I would say that his is a FAKE or incomplete video.
