I started to listen to Kpop since the 1st generation and I have to say no one can really be compared to TVXQ. Their talent is crazy. Hearing them sing live at the concert was unforgettable. If they dont disband, they would still conquer Kpop. They really paved the way for next generation Kpop.

you should check out Young Posse....they have a heavy 90s hip hop vibe to them. but their vocals are also very good IMO. I believe they co-produce with label producers and they do write their own lyrics. they are a fun group to check out.

RIGHT?! How do people not know TVXQ? Like sleep on a bed, not TVXQ? They are mostly known only in Asia, worshipped in Japan, legendary in Korea...Exactly, TVXQ literally paved the way, they went through ALL the shit so the groups after them have it easier. It IS a fact that TVXQ and BoA opened the Japan market to kpop. Groups have shorter contract because JYJ sued SM and won. And till this day, SM can't get over their first love - Jaejoong, and every single SM boy group has a visual member that resembles him (even he acknowledges that). SM might be shitty, but no one can deny their artits are talented af and they make great music.

Seo Taiji was actually originally a bassist in the metal band Sinawe back in the 80s! He continued to do some metal after Seo Taiji and Boys disbanded as well. Edit: Classroom Idea is a criticism of the Korean education system. It talks about conformity, forcing people to give up their wishes, and the uselessness of being "herded" into classrooms every morning. It also talks about having the right to learn what you wish to learn instead of forcing everyone to think the same way. Edit 2: 25:10 they weren't SM artists! They were under Banana Culture and Bando Records. SM Entertainment actually wasn't called SM Entertainment yet either, they were originally SM Studio and re-formed into SM Entertainment in 1995. Edit 3: If you like that old SM sound with the harmonies a lot, I would recommend Girls On Top by BoA! It's a true classic.

😮 wow you’re fast, I thought I was gonna have to wait and I’m actually a girl 😂 literally my top favorite groups and songs in one video, don’t worry there is no music video Yes they were “idols” but they were more trot or r&b based with too simple dances and were targeted towards the elderly or older generation, that’s why they are not considered kpop groups. Seo Taiji and Boys are considered the first kpop group because they expanded the concept of what idols do and target, the youth, who did not have any music in Korea to relate to at that time. They actually disbanded a few years after their debut. You are probably thinking of Super Junior they still release music, most will say it’s Shinwha but they haven’t released anything since 2018 just that they haven’t officially disbanded. Fun fact: BTS collabed with Seo Taiji at his 25th anniversary concert and performed “Come back home” & “Classroom Idea” and other great songs.

0x1= love song opened up a lot of doors for TXT. The song was everywhere in Korea. They even got nominated for a KMA ( equivalent to Grammys in Korea) for this song. Dreamcatcher's "Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy, which is about the destruction of the environment by humanity. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell, representing nature. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable, right? My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity). SuA jumping out after the dove seem to represent their desire for peace. The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal. Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius.

Dude I just started this and I heard carkpop voice 😂😂 he’s really good. And he’s a big monsta x fan. And I haven’t really started watching so I’m not so sure who he’s put on here.
