im in the same boat where i had about 5 different shades of blonde in my hair naturally, my mom didnt let me dye it until i was 18 and since then (im 24 now) ive never had my natural hair out, ive done every colour of the rainbow except black and brunette xD because temporary hair colour is always easier to remove and now im finally going light brunette and im scared ?? haha and it looks so good on you !

The struggle is the same with facial hair as with eyebrows. Little to no contrast leaves me unable to sport shorter and thinner styles seeing as they offer no definition. In my early 20's, I darkened from light to medium blond but still come summertime my hair always goes full-on Legolas mode.

This is clear proof that we always want what we don’t have! I’ve had platinum blonde hair up until the age of 10 but mine darkened and I’ve been obsessed with getting highlights ever since, then I went fully blonde because I never felt blonde enough and now I’m trying to embrace my natural dark blonde/light brown which is a very ashy color I’ve always hated because it looks darker than it actually is and barely reflects any light. When “mushroom brown” became a trend I was shocked that people wanted my hair color? I’ve always found it ugly but I’m giving it a chance. Although I just wanted to leave this here and say that I would’ve absolutely done anything for my hair to stop darkening with age and be like yours 😢😢
