you have no idea what he actually said in full or what that was in response to because i'm positive mnet edited that in a way to make it seem like he said something provocative 🙄 there's not a show mnet won't evil edit.

@@chuuri It was in response to him seeing a guy dance in heels, his face looked disgusted and he then said it makes him feel uncomfortable to see that. It was plain, no editing done to his words…but okay 🙄

@@devronl08 all of those people in Korea's choreography/dancing scene know each other and most of them are friends, I'm sure he is good with Kinky (that's the dancer everyone on SMF was "making fun" of for the video of doing drag and dancing in heels) just like Vata, the leader of We dem boyz and his crew are good friends with Youngjae, the leader of Just jerk and his crew even though mnet tried to make it seem like they're not friends I'm 100% sure mnet edited youngjoon's comment cos we don't know the questions the crews were responding to like we never know in any of mnet's shows (and there have been tons of them over the years) I'll never trust mnet for anything Also, pretty sure youngjoon was being sarcastic cos everyone knows who he is and what kind of dances he does so they laughed at his comment about kinky cos they're aware of the joke Do I agree that even sarcastically a joke like that is okay? No, but that's Korea and we can't them, just hope over time they'll change and see comments like these aren't okay

@@faeiyahh It wasn’t just one comment, he’s been known to say it quite a bit over the years. One of my very good friends is in the dance scene in Korea and does heel choreo as a man and has heard him say things about it as well. It has nothing to do with them being friends or not, his feelings about queer things are his feeling about queer things and I think it comes from a place of internalized homophobia, which I’ve also heard rumors about but I digress. Meet’s editing isn’t the concern here nor is his friendships with the other dancers on SMF

@@devronl08 if he's said it several times like that, then I agree it's definitely internalized homophobia it's just sad 'cos I feel like he himself isn't straight really which makes comments like these even sadder 'cos he can't even accept himself and in social settings acts like he maybe isn't gay or something to be accepted by their society (you know instead of being someone that brings about a change, he just goes with the flow even if it's homophobic)
