Your statement is very interesting considering some of the fastest radial, no prep, grudge cars, ect are Fox body’s.
They are way too light in the ass end, to put racing gears in. Even with stock rear end gears it can get squirrelly. I have spun my 85 around in an intersection in the rain. My 2002 gt holds to the road just fine until I put the pedal down. Makes passing an adventure.

@@JackelinHyde I understand what you mean my 94 had a horrible time catching grip, sometimes even as simple as being in the rain will cause my tires to spin like crazy.

If you rolled the intermediate sprag on a 1-2 shift you shouldn't have been down into the gear train. Intermediate sprag is on the back of the direct drum. If that's the original trans out of that teal and grey foxbody I not only built that trans but I painted that car
It went 1 to 2 on the t brake because I told Holley to do that at 85% TPS. I think your trans was good. Not bad mouthing. Just saying this because I fucked up. No hard feelings.
