I will be singing Psalms from The Psalter; or, Psalms of David, in English Verse by Keble. This work is in the public domain in the United States of America. No entity has a copyright on the body of this work. The only music will be my voice because I can't play any instruments good enough to do justice to the work.
For those of you who inevitably get upset that it is not your preferred translation, please relax. I am using this version because although the Hebrew may lend itself to being sung, the English does not do so on a word for word basis. This translation sounds pretty, and attempts to preserve the meaning of the verse, therefore that is what I'm singing.
For anyone wishing to use the video in your own content. you may do so as long as you are not charging for the content (that includes advertisements). If you are, please either share or do not use it.

Psalm 28 EV
The Psalter; or Psalms of David, in English Verse by Keble
Psalm 28:
1. O Lord, my Rock, on Thee I cry,
And close not Thou Thine Ear,
Lest it in silence, where I lie,
Thou pass, nor seem to hear,
Thy servant find his place and doom
With outcasts in the tomb
2. The voice of my sad yearnings mark,
When unto Thee I gasp,
When toward Thy shrine and holy ark
Mine eager bands I clasp
3. O drag me not in Thy stern net,
With souls on evil set;
With miscreants, round them speaking peace,
And framing guile within.
4. Lord, give them of their work's increase,
E’en as they toil’d in sin,
5. Reward them as their hands have wrought,
Repay them, deed and thought.
6. They muse not on the work of God,
Nor His high deeds adore;
And He will strew them far abroad,
And build them up no more.
7. Praise to the Lord, for He receiv'd
The sigh my spirit heav d
8. The Lord, my strength and shield is He,
To Him my bosom clings,
And I am holpen ,-light and free,
My heart for gladness springs
Now with the flower of all my lays
Th' Eternal One I praise
9. God is their strength; to Him He crown’d,
"A tower of saving grace.
10. O save the tribes Thy mercy found,
"And bless Thy favour'd race,
And feed them, Lord, and lift them high
"To all eternity.”
This song is dedicated to a brother who wandered far off the righteous path.
I pray his final words were spoken to the Lord as He took him home.
May the Lord's abundant mercy be enough to save all of us who have strayed so far from Him.

I love The Lord because He has inclided His ear unto me. Therefore I will call upon the Name of the Lord forever. I will lift up my cup of Salvation in the presence of all Ye Peoples.
This is my favorite psalm.

Praise God every day. We do not understand so many things, but put all faith in God's mercy. Thank you and keep praising God.
Mankind has concocted thousands of God claims throughout recorded history, none of which have ever been proven by any reasonable standard of evidence. That goes for all supernatural claims. And faith is just the excuse of people give when they don't have good reason for their beliefs.

@@psalmistinprogress9089 practical advice/wish: keep all your "intros" and "outros" short as they are right now. i think your whole channel so far can be simply played as a "background-music-playlist". and once you completed a whole chapter/book, you can combine all related videos into one big one. i simply like listening to your melodic american voice : )
@@TheVitalRedpill Awesome. I was led to sing the Psalms after studying Psalm 119 at great length. I don't want it to be about me, so I just decided to do what I do. I put absolutely no effort into looking good or delivering any message other than the Psalm itself. I can't play any instrument good enough, so no worries about that. I'm doing 119 in order, one a week, but the others are just whatever comes up. I hope God leads me to do this more. Actually, I know He will, in eternity if not here and now. So, maybe the next week or so? I hope to inspire others to do the same. Not necessarily this translation, just whatever they like. Being in verse helps, but I have sung a few KJV and Spanish RV psalms that sound ok too.

Thank you. I've learned alot doing this over the last year or so. Reading the Psalms gives you the knowledge, but you have to sing them to really get the feeling.
