The International Stereotactic Radiosurgery Society (ISRS) was founded as a global non-profit organization in 1991. As the largest professional association of its kind, ISRS is dedicated to advancing the field of Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) through multidisciplinary education and knowledge-sharing, collaborative research, and the definition and dissemination of best practices and clinical outcomes. ISRS supports its members by:

- Defining and disseminating clinical best practices and guidelines
- Fostering scientific research and collaboration
- Convening the ISRS Congress

I’ve had two lots of stereo tactic radio surgery to remove a 5.5 cm AVM . I’m experiencing new symptoms (Seizures & head pains). Recent MRI scans have have shown I have necrosis around the area that the gamma knife was targeting, the good news is that the AVM has been obliterated but should I be worried about necrosis?
