Talking Sculpture Episode 3: Vasa Mihich
There are moments in art when an artist’s presence in a specific environment, coupled with contemporary materials and technological advancements, results in singular works that are truly unique and irreplaceable. It’s even more thrilling when, years later, these works not only retain their relevance but have gained freshness and pertinence with time.

Not a single piece of art that you have exhibited has inspired or impressed anyone in the greater art community, yet you continue to struggle to justify its value both literally and figuratively. Shame on you for lowering the bar; SHAME.

Found a copy of ' Art in America ' ( magazine ) from Sept. 2002 recently , on the last page was a small article about Masayuki Nagare's ' Cloud Fortress ' sculpture that once stood at the base of the twin towers in NYC , the article asks whether the sculpture was lost or destroyed , I had never seen Masayuki's work until reading this article , I love his work and the story moved me . Thank You !

I recently purchased a Gene Davis silkscreen on canvas on board at a local thrift store here in Deland, Florida. I think it's titled "lanthe". It's quite stunning and looks correct to me. At the same store the day before I purchased a signed Denis Mitchell bronze titled "crean" initialed on base and dated 71. Both came from the same donation. A good weekend of hunting for sure.
