Sokolov is amazing here. I haven't listened to him that much but wasn't really attracted to his playing. But this really shows what he can do. Wow! When someone brings this kind of depth to their interpretation it give the music a richness that is a wonder. (Though the orchestra plays beautifully and the dynamics are very well done, there is a sense of Brahmsian tension missing in places - but all in all really good.)

Miremos esta interpretación desde otro ángulo, el sentimental, no creo que se pueda ver tamaña interpretación desde lo académico.... SOKOLOV es uno de mis mejores descubrimientos... BRAHMS y este tercer movimiento sin lugar a dudas y desde siempre es parte de mí y mi melancólico sufrimiento por la búsqueda de estos atardeceres rojos y naranjas. GRACIAS por compartirlo.

No hay duda que Sokolov es el pianista vivo que mejor interpreta este concierto. BRAVO!!!

Ah! Por cierto que el concierto que menciona d2d4e6 de Sokolov-Pekka, pudiera ser mejor, pero la grabación es deficiente en el sonido. De modo que no lo recomiendo. Este, reitero, es EXCELENTE!
