Dartford football club's first match at home in the town for 14 years was a sell out and fans watched the festivities and enjoyed the football.
With live music and entertainment, competitions and prizes, children's face painting, pyrotechincs and fireworks, and a 4-2 victory for the Darts, the event was a resounding success.
