JWildfire Fractal Flame Beginners Guide Pt2
In this tutorial, we'll cover how to copy a fractal flame from an online post, the website www.jwfsanctuary.club or the Sanctuary paster, which is at paster.jwfsanctuary.club.
In part two of the tutorial, moving the transforms about using JWildfire is covered. Scaling and rotating are explained also.

A beginners guide to playing in JWildfire, make fractals in minutes.
Переглядів 1,9 тис.2 роки тому
So you have JWildfire, where to start? Well, a quick and easy way to begin your exploration, is by running a script. This will show you how some fractals are made, and will allow you to play with settings and variations. The more you play, the more you'll learn about what does what.
Match Colour Tones with a JWildfire Fractal and a photograph using Photoshop.
Переглядів 1352 роки тому
Sometimes you want to add a photograph to your JWildfire fractal, but how do you match up the colour and tones of the fractal to your photo. Here's a simple (not precise) way of doing it. There are other ways that are more accurate, but also more complicated. This should help you get started and you can fine adjust.
JWildfire - How to create great looking fractal lamps and lamp stands
Переглядів 3232 роки тому
In this tutorial, Michael guides viewers through creating a lampshade and lamp stand using a software tool. He starts by discussing the importance of installing the necessary scripts and provides a brief introduction to the software's flame pack, which includes pre-made lampshade and stand designs. Michael then demonstrates how to create a lampshade from scratch by selecting a design, adding tr...
JWildfire Poured and Framed Scripts Tutorial Part 2
Переглядів 1122 роки тому
In this video, we go a little further and learn how to add an image to the output of the other scripts in the package. Also, how to create multiple layered versions of the script output and manipulate those. You can find the scripts here, and again, if you post images generated with them, it's required to post a link to the download with your image, so that others can try them out and word gets...
Poured and Framed JWildfire Scripts
Переглядів 2482 роки тому
Shortish introduction to my new Poured and Framed scripts. Based around frames for an image (if you like). Shows how to have a folder of images to read for some of the scripts that will display an image in the centre. Others are just regular frame types to do what you want with. The poured scripts are to simulate poured paint (well, some of them), and are there just to play with and see what yo...

JWildfire Script - How to add photo to poured script
Переглядів 1352 роки тому
There's a script among the poured scripts that allows you to add your own photo. You'll have to add it manually because I couldn't figure out how to do it with the script. This video will walk you through the steps of adding your photo to the frame.

Deeper!! we will add a range command. This will allow us to randomise the values of various items within the script to give us an ever changing look to our original fractal flame. More complicated, but well worth getting to grips with this.

Filling fractal holes in JWildfire
Переглядів 1693 роки тому
Often in JWildfire, you might find you have a wonderful design, but a circular hole in the middle of it. How can you fill this hole? If it's a Julia you can always increase the "dist" value, but that doesn't always give you the effect you want. Here's a simple way to solve the problem. It's not the only way of course, and there may be others that you will prefer, but it's handy and a good way t...

Well done. I appreciate you uploaded it in a high enough resolution that all the buttons can be ready and that you magnified when necessary, and went slowly enough for us to process.

I really did work hard at this for years I wanted to be the best and wanted more from the program I wanted landscapes , trees, clouds, 3d models ,hair, fur, smoke, and even draw in it, and yes I got it but not enough of it ,really felt like there was more to this than just fractals, and it did not become as great as it could of or should of am I right ? one of the last things I was doing with this was 3d models and started getting into black and white images and drawings , I did have a hard time coming up with new stuff but checking in PS I had the black and white perfect were it was supposed to be.

Well, like you I wanted the landscapes and the clouds, trees etc. I wrote some scripts to generate things like this a while ago. It is a great tool for sure, but it can't do all. Keep mixing the packages and you'll get to what you want I'm sure.

Thank you for dedicated jwf videos. I was wondering if it was possible to generate fractals in jwf using an input image. Almost like in the way of creating psychedelic paintings for instance. Fractals mapped to the input image.

Fantastic tutorial there, the best i have seen showing how amazing jwildfire is, i could do with another lifetime to get to understand all the settings, i certainly learnt a few trix watching your well paced demonstration. At the end you could have overlayed the stand on to the shade using layers but your way was new to me and equally useful, any information on how to find what each transformation does would be great, a list of common ones and what they could do for example, it is such a great program but has so little tutorials or learning materials, i have been using it for a few years and know a fair bit but it seems like a common pool of knowledge would be great as others know different aspects well. I have been trying the animation side recently and that is a whole new world of fun but certainly makes your computer cry for a rest as it takes a lot of Cpu ... Thanks again pal, enjoy your work ... Peace

Thank you so much ! I know what you mean about the learning curve for JWildfire, which is why I set the JWildfire Sanctuary site up. There is plenty there about the variations and what they do, you should really check it out. www.jwfsanctuary.club/ Look at the reference menu, there's a huge amount of info there about the variations and types etc. I could have done the lamps with layers you're right, but sometimes they don't always get the results I'm after, which is why I like to build a composite. Also you should join our facebook group if you haven't already. :) facebook.com/groups/jwfsanctuary

it's hard to believe how dead this program is well compared to Mandelbulb3D , Jwildfire and Apophysis-2.09 it's possible to do drawings , 3d models , sky renders , water renders , just about anything I really wish Jwildfire had every plugin that Apophysis has and fix transparent renders it would make the program so much better maybe add more forms for 3d models because the program could be more than just a fractal program

    • @perarduadastra

Definitely far from dead :) I've managed water and 3d and sky renders. I'm not the author, but am sure suggestions would be welcome to him on his website.

I usually add a new Linear3D transform and do the same, reduce the size of the transform at the number and sometimes in the triangle associated with the Linear3D in post-transform. I'll definitely try your method also!
