And the panel mounts to the regulator itself along with all the electronics and cabling. so here was the step by step on what you get to look forward to and i hope this helps you save a couple bucks and do it yourself!
Replacing A Low Beam Bulb on a 2017 Jeep Compass, Passenger Side
Переглядів 1,4 тис.10 місяців тому
The easiest way i have found is a combination of above and below the headlight. so from the engine bay, remove the air cleaner top (3 bolts) and youll have some room to get in there and twist the cap off. Then from below, remove the 3 8mm bolts and the 1 10mm nut and fold over the inner wheel well and you now have access to the bottom and behind the headlight. rotate the headlight a 1/4 turn co...
Changing The front pads and rotors on a 2018 Ram
Переглядів 54Рік тому
This was going great, until the rotors were seized and the caliper was damaged by me taking it off. the rivet on the pad scrapped the cup on the caliper. Luckily my local store had one in stock and i swapped it out quickly. The rest is history!

      You just disconnect the battery when putting new one in and reconnect after clear code and turn off truck then restart it

      After replacing, would I be able to take the truck to get code cleared? Or will it not be able to run if I don’t clear code right away.

    • @rendiawells-mitchell5440
      @rendiawells-mitchell5440 2 роки тому

      So that entire yellow piece, that holds the bulb, comes out and can be thrown away...right. I thought it was something that I needed to be careful with, but now I'm going to pry it out of there.

    Thanks for the vid! Whenever you get around to welding, Im sure you'll grab some Sheet Metal Clamps if you don't have, maybe consider practice laying dimes on some scrap 20ga. . Keep a couple few long shop towels and a bucket of water handy use the towels to keep both sides cool. Once you get front couple tacks you really gotta mind the buckling- Especially if the strip you're adding isn't Exactly the same Age and Thickness as the Base Metal since it's older . Maybe look for a few little baby spots on the body that can use a quick spot weld and tune the welder so it's laying a Flat Shiny Dime with a quick trigger pull and unless you're laying another dime immediately- Before the Dime and the Tip of the Wire cool from glowing- Make sure to clip the tip off the wire before another Dime to keep things clean an shiny. Alternate opposite sides laying baby dimes opposite sides of the strip you're adding. Only do a few, keeping towels close to welds to keep Heat Affected Zone close to the welds carefull nothing is glowing red but for an instant or it's too hot. Let her cool until water doesn't sizzle -don't let cool too much- make sure you've got good gas flow and you're good 👍Your gonna go through a ton of cutting disc's bro- you know you gotta where the respirator 😆
