Rewatching this. I think they made Liza and Dane discover the truth much too fast. They let Rusty's plot simmer for a good six months, only to have its victims fully understand it within about a week? Feels like a cheap ending, but I guess the new writer wanted Rusty and Aja gone fast. I'm not going to spoil for those who haven't seen, but the info the characters learn about Rusty after he leaves the show has a similar feeling. It totally cheapens the presence he had as the big-bad villain.

I don't know why I'm watching this lol.

It occurs to me that SFT has several small sets driving the action at any given time. Jo/Stu/Stephanie and their circle, Travis/Liza/Sunny/Aja with Rusty an interesting good old-fashioned viłłian, who puts some thought into hls schemes iand here, lastly in the episode, Warren, Wendy, Suzie, Ringo, etc. It makes for an even canvas of colorful characters in a show tbat respects its genre and, frankly, is always good soapy fun. Kudos!

I sincerely thank you for these. Jenny needs to lighten up. Wendy hasn't spent any one on one time with Keith for a long time and they both deserve some time together. How would Wendy know it was serious when Andi always calls and tries to get in the middle of their relationship? not intentionally, but she does. I can understand Jenny's irritation but to cut into Wendy like that is very childish.

Great episodes. You asked me my thoughts on why Aja killed Rusty. I think it was because he hurt Travis and ruined her life in the process for falling deeply in love with a man that she could never have because he was already taken and in love with Liza.
