Never seen that anime about the zombies, but it makes sense to me. Like if the apocolype came, there would be a surprisingly large population across the world that would enjoy it, and I don't mean in a crude and sadistic way. People would enjoy not needing to go to work for someone else. People would enjoy surviving on their own merits.
