    Less affective than gravel systems gravel systems cause wider spread of waste water so trenches perks don’t get saturated in one area causing failure of percolating ground. Further spreading of water in system less likely ground will be saturated with water

    Do you have a view of where the extenda hoe hoses leave valve body and he extractoion hose is roted at the 3 point hitch and connects to the underside of the boon a 90 degree fitting with a skid plate?

    From watching a number of other videos on leaching systems using the chamber system, apparently it's not a particularly good idea to have those side louvers on the infiltrator system as roots can permeate into the chamber and plug up the works through the gaps. In truth, I never saw a need for the louvers as the system is close enough to grade to allow for pressure equalization between inside and outside the cavity holding the effluent. What other reason would you want louvers on such a system?

    I was waiting for him to push it through the radiator of the lifting tractor..... :-(. Nice hoses, thanks for the vid, but I think I bleed the lines in a different fashion.... and find a third person to help with the pull-rope, etc... . But now I know!

    Those 90's are going to cause issues... But other than that it looks good! Just curious how the system is holding up if you're still there

      90's won't cause issues with effluent. If you're getting solids all the way to those 90's you have other problems. Solids aren't supposed to leave the tank.

    How deep are they supposed to be installed, or does it go according to the depth of the outlet on the septic system?

    I don't have another machine so I am thinking of building a platform to leave it on as I slide out by driving the 580 forward. Anybody out there ever try to put it together without a hoist or other machine? I have crane and chainfalls in the shop but I don't really want to go there.

    what capacity is that for? That to code? done by contractors? know if those trenches can be really close to property lines? just wonder how that does not get filled with dirt over time slits don't seem so fine as to stop that.

      I have not lived there since 2011. It worked well for the 3 years we were there. It was put in to replace a failed septic system. I remember water rising up into the tub the day the old system failed. Installed by people that did it for a living. I recorded when they were done for the day or at lunch.

    Gravel less systems are the way to go with engineered spec septic sand/gravel now costing about $25 a cubic yard....using certified septic sand or gravel can run up the cost of your leaching field or mound system to over $20,000 dollars....leaching chambers seem like a more cost effective way to go...nice job on this video...thanks

    What type of combiner did you use to couple the 2 sides of the antenna together? Just a regular splitter? I have multiple directional antennas each facing different directions in my area (Canadian TV to the north, Seattle to the South, KIRO repeater to the Northeast (only 3 mi). One problem is that channels 9, 11, and 13, are actually their original VHF frequencies, so I need VHF capability as well. Anyways, how well does this work? I run into problems when I have more than one antenna hooked up do to "signal multipath", like the same signal reflected off a mountain or something. What USED to happen with analog, you'd see "ghosting". With Digital, the bits arrive a few nanoseconds after the direct ones, thereby corrupting the entire stream and the channel is obliterated. How did you do it? Do you think the performance of this antenna is superb? I heard these bow-tie and mesh type are. Right now I just have a Balun (300 to 75 Ohm), with one lead hooked up to a 50' coil of copper tubing on the wall, and the other to a hook. I get nearly every Canadian channel.

    the engine compartment is identical to mine except the hydralic pump on the RH front of the engine is not located the same as mine. Mine must be a newer model? Anyway I can not get the starter out because it hit on the pump not allowing enough movement to get it out. I'm going to call the MF dealer to see if they have any suggestion or experience with this problem. Thank you for responding to me though. I really appreciate it. One would certainly think that you could take the starter off to be repaired with out taking all these pumps apart or the engine out?

  • @PLINKER
    @PLINKER 10 років тому

    I'm have a lot of difficulty get my old starter out. There is a hydralic pump on the front of the engine that prevent enough clearance from getting the bad starter out any secrets or did you have to remover that pump somehow? The books says its a hydralic shuttle pump? Maybe yours did not have a shuttle?

    • @CatHollow1
      @CatHollow1 10 років тому

      Sorry, it was a long time ago and I don't have this machine anymore. What I do recall is that there was nothing obstructing the starter toward the front of the engine. It did have a shuttle shift, with a clutch. It had a hydraulic pump right off the front of the crankshaft. Maybe you have a different engine or different options. I believe this unit was a "forestry" or logging model. It had a roll cage with a roof pan and a winch, and it was a small dozer. Good luck with your repair.

    I almost never downrate a video. Today, I behaved differently. It looks as if you took a video of an 8-bay bowtie built on a 2-by-4 frame for UHF TV reception. With that, I provided somewhat more information than the video.

    To call this guy an idiot is an understatement. The HELL are you doing digging into a cliff like that you dope?? Nothing like risking burying you and the machine, right? Damn clown...... Oh, and you might want to learn how to operate smoothly before acting like a total fuckoff.......idiot. Head up top, use the extendahoe (that's kinda what it's there for) and pull up from the bottom of the pit......

    • @sawman209
      @sawman209 6 років тому

      The backhoe was probably best used as a loader in the scenario. If the front end is buried, you can just use the boom and rear wheels to pull the machine out.

  • @PLINKER
    @PLINKER 10 років тому

    what all did you have to take off to get the starter out? Don't look like there is enough clearance to get it out

    I guess you were just showing off your cute child and the fact that you made an antenna. However, no details on what the thing is used for, what bands it covers and how it is built. Oh well....

      THE MAKING OF "Weather Proof Coat Hanger Antenna!!!" Antenna made following the video link above. Just made for fun really. After seeing videos of how to make one, and that you could receive free digital quality TV signals, I thought I would try it. It worked for several years and stayed up for three years. Never struck by lightning or blown down by wind. It was grounded with some thick bare braided copper I wound around the galvanized pipe and hose clamped to a steel rod driven into the earth. This was at the time of the conversion to digital TV broadcasting and you could get free coupons for the converter boxes. I have no knowledge of what bands it covered, etc. Thanks.

    I work for a septic company and do installs all the time this system is going to work fine, the thin wall is longer then I would have laied it but who ever said a couple years at most your an idiot plan and simple you don't need fabric or stone with the chambers. do you research
