Great reaction! Another band with a large Army of followers is ‘The Warning’ who are three sisters from Mexico. They are great rock musicians and would give you another large rabbit hole to go down. Start with ‘Evolve’ at the MTV Award Ceremony live.

The composer, Tuamos, usually, allows us to individually interpret the meaning of the lyrics. So each interpretation is different. Most of us get quuite familar with the music before trying ot comprehend the lyrics. Tuamos' lyrics are quite intelligent.

Sometimes the images in a video, do not follow the lyrics closely. Noise is a word for the myriad of distractions of all types we endure.

You are the first reactor, I have watched, that chose Noise as their first Nightwish reaction. Interesting.

This particular video (and many of their newer videos) have English closed captions. They mix English in with Japanese in almost all their songs but on older ones, like Dice, it’s with a thicker accent so you can miss it. I was surprised at how much of the song is actually English!

They dropped a 14 song album at the end of September 2024.... became self managed.....dropped a new song in January (this one) and new ep by mid 2025....along with touring the entire time. Oh, and Kanami being awarded a signature line of PRS guitars.. ..Misa getting a signature bass from Black Cloud, and Akane getting signature drum sticks....pretty busy 2024

Musically, honestly probably one of the most simple songs Nightwish has ever put out. Lyrically... probably one of the best. EDIT: I'm really not trying to be rude here... But I mean if you don't understand what a metaphor is... I don't know what to tell you, my man. I understand not caring or knowing what the lyrics are about and still liking the music. Hell I remember a time when I didn't understand what any lyrics meant beyond what they are literally saying too. There exists art and artists that you have be educated about in order to fully appreciate. Nightwish is not a puddle-deep band. There are plenty of bands I can enjoy knowing they have very simple lyrics. But Nightwish is not one of those bands. It could be that Nightwish is writing at a level 7 or 8 here, but your understanding is at a level 3? I know I know I probably sound like a condescending donkey's derriere here. I don't mean for it to be. People are great and not so great at things. I don't know your background. I don't know about your experiences with literature, writing, poetry, etc. I'm sure you are great at other things... just song lyrics are not your strong suit for now. And that's okay. Sometimes all you need is just to get your toes wet and soon enough you'll be diving off the deep end. But I still acknowledge and appreciate a genuine reaction! You did start to catch onto what the song Noise was about, so you'll get there! I truly wish the best for you and your channel! Take this like!

Un coucou de l'armée NIGHTWISH de France, avec 2 jours de retard, très bonne réaction et excellente analyse à l'écoute du plus grand groupe du monde pour ma part. Mon ami pour la troisième fois vous venez de faire connaissance du métal symphonique et de notre reine Floor, mais vous n'avez qu'effleuré le dessus de l'iceberg et vous n'êtes qu'a l'entrée du terrier de lapin. Je vous souhaite de bons floorgasmes et continuez vos réactions nous serons toujours derrière vous pour vous soutenir pour notre groupe...... Encore plus d'écoutes s'il vous plait...... Merci. Continuez sur le festival du Wacken Open Air 2013, vous êtes sur de ne pas vous tromper, les quinze chansons du set sont des classiques pour tous les fans du groupe et sont à écouter absolument. Vous venez d'écouter la 13ème chanson du set un incontournable, ensuite faites le Ever Dream qui commence comme une douce ballade voix piano et sur un signe de Marko ( le bassiste ) continue d'accélérer pour finir comme un train à grande vitesse et en même temps de faire la connaissance de la voix de Marko, ou écoutez une petite histoire, un bon rock avec un refrain qui reste longtemps en tête avec Storytime ou alors du plus lourd avec Ghost River pour entendre le mélange magnifique des voix de Floor avec Marko ( merveilleuse harmonie ) ou encore plus lourd avec Romanticide ..... Et je pense que notre ami Gabriel Bardac devait arriver sous peu, ou être déjà passé ou retournez sur votre première réaction au groupe ( Un grand MERCI à Gabriel d'avoir repris le flambeau de notre regrettée Anne ) , bizarrement je n'ai pas vu notre ami Gabrielle intervenir , néanmoins allez sur son mur, cliquez son nom et allez sur communauté, vous pourrez suivre sa liste en toute confiance avec les meilleurs mixages à la bonne vitesse et avec le meilleur audio mais ce n'est pas une obligation, juste un sage conseil pour entendre une petite partie du meilleur du groupe. This song is a commentary on modern society with its addiction to phones and social media, consumerism, beauty and drugs, and - indeed - the results of that in us estranging from each other. And the child with the helmet stands for the brainwashing for those things that we receive from a very young age nowadays.... And the end shows that there is an alternative...

Glad ya liked it, bro. When the Disasterpieces DVD came out in 2002, it was like nothing any of us ever heard. It remains unmatched by any other band to this day, imo. I'm still watching it in 2025, ffs! Corey was bullied when he was a youngin. The song is about his desire to kill the guy and make him feel the pain that he has inflicted.
