When you're spindle spinning, it helps to losely wrap the roving around your wrist so it doesn't catch on the fibre you're actively spinning. A good book to use is Respect the Spindle by Abby Franquemont.

Ooo, good haul of yummies! 😀 I still can’t spindle spin, despite many attempts and a workshop 😂 I was watching Madison Monteese recently, & she mentioned how she now encourages her friends who want to try it to start with a Turkish spindle, as that how she found success after frustration with the regular’ drop spindle. May be something to try!

I have loved your vlogtober video's. I love all the content, not only the yarn related things, but also the walks and seeing the dog. Your garden, the leaves ... everything.
