And the bathroom has no window, that is gross.
The kitchen and dining area is a big let down. And one of my pet dislikes is white subway tiles with dark grouting. It always reminds me of a Victorian public convenience.

The house represents such a missed opportunity. The first mistake is the hall floor bath room and the second is the titchy lower ground kitchen. Both spaces could have been an expanded living room and a big, eat in kitchen.
In the UK, the washing machine is usually in the kitchen because that is often the only place for it to go. However, a substantial renovation sometimes give people the opportunity to create a utility room with laundry facilities. Certainly the lower ground floor could have been remodelled to create a proper, eat in kitchen with additional storage and laundry.
A one minute tour ... yeah that's about the time I would want to spend there too.

it is a shame that the people who once lived here would have once been rehoused as part of slum clearance by the labor-controlled local authority, which were focused on improving people's living conditions. Now their descendants would probably not be able to afford to live here anymore.
