@@ia6980 I know, we have it as high as it will go. Probably going to get a Jack plate to get it higher.
@missourioutdoorboyz i had same issue, to test it, i cut 2 inch styrofoam and placed it over transom, splashing were gone and increased speed by 5mph. I was surprised. Now need to install jack plate
is there a formula to know how long to make it? like if your draw length is a certain length, this will be a certain one?
@@victorcsiszar not that I am aware of. You could draw it and have someone measure it. Then cut an inch short so you know it’ll pull your peep straight.

From what I’ve read there’s no real big difference between the two. Tohatsu wasn’t an option at my dealer. So that’s why the Merc.

Yeah no fun to hook your leg. I prefer to hook my fuel line , net , trolling motor wires and my fav vinyl seats. Running lines can get a little crazy.

I have 2024 20hp elect start and when i reverse the motor kicks up. is this the new norm or is my new outboard defected? My 06 9.9 tilt locked automatically in reverse...
Ours locks. There’s a red lever that has to be flipped.
The power trim is designed to not operate when your boat is on plane, when you actually need it.
When out fishing last week and I would go high RPMS and when I would stop it would smoke from the muffler. Any idea what it can be?
No idea, sorry that’s happening. Idk if it’s bad or not. Mine does not do that.

The new tiller handle and controls are just frickin awesome. I just came down from a brand new 40 with the huge handle to a new 25 with this smaller handle, I like it a lot more. These 20's are really impressive, and at their weight/price its a better deal.

Not at all.
Did you have to add any oil or grease before unboxing?
Bought it from bass pro. It was their policy to do all that for me. When I picked it up they put it back in the box so I could get it home. That was after they walked me through how to operate it. I didn’t have a choice.
