Fishing A New Spot On Whitesand River.
Ooo is the river low but its nice to see the fish are well. What was the lure you were using?
A new co-op lure Dean's short u can see it will be back to make a video on these top water lures we missed some big ones.
You found quite the honey hole! Great vid as always, gents. The Fraser Valley misses you but you've transplanted well.
Nice bunch of Mulies!! However I think those may be does. I know males form bachelor groups up until the Rut gets underway. If you saw antlers on some of them, I’ll take your word for it. Cameras can be deceiving. 😅
👍
Plant brassica. Mine r strong after the freeze. Zone 5a. My cilantro lived thru the -30 last yr. It made it thru the whole winter
Good to know thanks.
i live in fishing lake
It is a nice lake
@@OnTheHookFishing ik it is but i would say never live there
Because I’m the first person to like sorry about your pees
Thanks 👍
Please give me a shout out
. Will do. Video coming soon.
Yep, by the time hunting season hits, river fishing is just about wrapped up. 'Till next time fishies!
Ice fishing is just around the corner.lol
@@OnTheHookFishing even bigger lol because while I have ice fishing gear, no one ever wants to go with me. Besides, I’m usually too hyper fixated on kidding season. 🤣
There’s walleye here still in the fall!? Wow! And here I thought they all migrated down stream for the winter ❄️ keep on catching! 🎉 and I also had no idea that perch lived in the Whitesand. Learn something new every day.
It was fun we have caught Perch here and there but they are hard to find in the river and the walleye fishing has been slow bobber and minnow seems to work most of the year.
🎉🎉
👍
I live in red deer and had no idea we had Pike in that pond till this weekend, I have only been here just over a year but its great to know. How big do they get?
The biggest one we caught could have bin One to two pounds.
@@OnTheHookFishing Perfect for my daughter to catch
Fire up that smoker, made me hungry for smoked fish!
Will be Smoking soon.
Great day of fishing! Thanks for noting the rods/reels in the description for us tackle newbies.
It was a good day. Will go over gear more .
Good fishin
Sher is lol
i love fishing ❤
We do to lol
@OnTheHookFishing lol my daughter had to comment
We were fishing with minnows lol video coming out tomorrow.
As how one comedian said "let him go! He's just a baby!" I had no idea even baby walleye were viscious enough to bite a big fish lure.
We were fishing with minnows lol
Such a nice video and what a lovely dedication for dearly departed Granny. :) Where was today's adventure? I am still hoping to eventually catch a trout but I know summer is pointless for trout fishing as they hate the warm summer weather and the bite is almost non-existent.... unless you have different advice?
Buchanan trout Pond lol.
@@OnTheHookFishing I thought it looked familiar! 😅 Thank you! My dad and I will need to try it out this fall! Glad they are willing to bite inline spinners!
@OnTheHookFishing is there another name for this trout pond I can't find it on the stocking reports
@@diaryofagoat-lass1023 this pond is outside Buchanan but you need to be a part of the wildlife club.lol
Hey 👋 looks awesome guys hope your both well
👍
The little ones are such squirmy wormies aren't they? Gotta be careful lest you get hooked too.
So true.
That’ll be cantaloupe bud, can tell by the stripes and the leaves are different from watermelon Watermelon looks like watermelon even when it’s still really small, Try to prop it up off the dirt so she don’t rot, I grow my melons vertical on trellis or tomato cages etc then hang heavy fruits in nylons or net
Thanks for the advice.
Always nice to see Saskatchewan getting some attention! Where was today's adventure? What river? :)
Old Togo
Tires. Dead deer. That sort of stuff.
😆lol
U have not uploaded in so long😢
Will have a new video soon
😂
👍
I LOVE those things!! As long as you can find a size and colour you like, you will catch just about anything. I actually found a large pike sized orange and black one! haven't caught anything on it yet. :P Where is today's fishing adventure?
Bye Fishing Lake and Spinnerbaits are a fun lure .
River starting to look low. Hopefully you guys are not snagging up too much. ☺️
We caught the bottom 3 times and got bit off 3 times lol
@@OnTheHookFishing Time to invest in the 12 inch steel leaders... :P
Hi guys, where are you guys fishing for perch? Nice catching.
Theodore Dam Reservoir
Yes we were hoping for perch.
Hi guys, where are you guys fishing for perch? Nice catching.
Theodore Dam Reservoir
I've been back there a few times testing lures and yes, the pike population is very healthy. I try hard not to fish there too often as I have seen little pike fry hiding in the grass come September so that part of the river is actually a nursery. ☺️ They loved my painted pikachu lure.
Thanks for watching that's exactly why we only put out a short .
Looks like a nice park for a picnic Is that local?
It's in Sturgis Saskatchewan
All of our spots like that around here, are always loaded with migrants and immigrants that are always there .. We've figured out that they actually fish in shifts,to maintain the spots closest to the spilling ways..
Thanks 👍 for watching.
So what lake did you fish in PG, neither of the lakes you fished are in prince
We didn't get the chance as the title says lol .
The ignorance of whoever released these fish into salmon bearing water is off the scale
It is too bad we don't know how the bass got there but they are all over the Lower mainland now not butch can be done just like The Northern Pikeminow.
Yummmm 🤤
It was good
What pond? Super happy to see people catching such finiky little stinkers!
Buchanan trout Pond lol
@@OnTheHookFishing awesome and thank you!! I think my dad and I drove by there one time and were wondering. 😅
@@diaryofagoat-lass1023 no problem
never release Carp back into the lake... they are destroying the game fishing..
Thanks for watching there is nothing about killing Carp in the Regulations we love all fish.
Is it round lake in Ontario
South Saskatchewan
GOOD JOB GUYS I HOPE IT GO WELL FOR YOU GUYS FROM DON COWAN
Thanks Don. Appreciate it.
Last time I was there, there was nothing and the river was quite low. This was about a mo the ago. Best of luck! 😁🫡
Thanks 🙏 video coming soon.
Hi coming down from Saskatoon where abouts would one camp and fish for catfish at round lake ?
We don't fish that area all that often but the North West side of the lake may have something.
Saskatchewan has more and bigger fish than BC. Sumas river has no fish
That's sad to hear about Sumas River
Been following since I met you guys at barrowtown, heading to sask this weekend to fish for 2 weeks! Love the show keep it up guys ! Epic catch!!
Good to hear from long term followers. Thanks. Where in Sask are you fishing? Fishing here is outstanding.
@@OnTheHookFishing have a couple spots I would like to check out, no plan got lots of diesel. On the hook definatly inspired this trip been seeing how much fun you’ve been having since you moved. Maybe we will see you out there!
@@stevep1856 We are happy to hear we inspired you .If you are in the Canora area we can definitely meet up.
@@OnTheHookFishing do you have any suggestions for camp ground?
The best campaign we feel is in Sturgis Park and the best Chinese food around the corner.
nice fish guys keep it up from don cowan in pg
Thanks 👍 glad you liked the video.
Hey guys! We went to pelican today. We cought 2 10lbder hogs
That's awesome we were thinking about going back to that lake were you on the bank or in a boat?
Super cool video as always! Where is today’s fishing adventure? Always been curious about carp fishing but when I see it’s just sit and wait, I think I would loose my mind. 🤣 I prefer putting in a little effort to make fish bite, ie baby pike lure for attracting bigger pike. 😅
Thanks glad you liked the video. And the spot Old Togo
Where in round lake been looking for new spots
This spot is on the south end of the lake
fished this lake back in the day never caught much. What lures yall use out there?
The Lure we had the most luck with was a dollar store worm and real worms.
peas
👍
Those are some beautifully ripe looking peas 💚
Tasty as well. Fast growing plants.
