Welcome to Abruzzo from the Inside! This channel and project are dedicated to all the people of Abruzzo and/or of Abruzzo origin worldwide. I had the incredible fortune of living in Abruzzo, Italy, from the late-70s to the mid-80s, and those were the absolute best years of my life (pushing my wonderful children aside for just a moment 🤣). I hope you will subscribe to my channel to learn or reminisce about one of the lesser-known but most beautiful and pristinely untouched natural environments in Italy and Europe.

A Typical Fall Day Day in Sulmona in Abruzzo
Переглядів 1,8 тис.2 роки тому
When I returned to Sulmona in the fall of 2016, it had been the first time since 1995 that my mom, my brother, and I had an opportunity to enjoy everyday Sulmona together. Having lived in Sulmona from the late-70s to the mid-80s, moments like these are part of the fabric of my soul. Have you ever been to Sulmona?
Driving from Pacentro (AQ) through Passo San Leonardo (AQ) in beautiful Abruzzo, Italy.

Take 5 minutes to relax and enjoy a scenic drive through one of Abruzzo's most beautiful landscapes, Passo San Leonardo in the province of L'Aquila. This ride is from the Pacentro area driving toward Passo San Leonardo. I grew up in Italy from the late 70s to the early 80s, and this place is 100% identical to how it was back then. Abruzzo's pristine and unadulterated beauty is a double-edged sw...
Italy 2016: My Hike in Valle dell'Orfento in Abruzzo, Italy
Переглядів 855 років тому
When I returned to beautiful Abruzzo in the fall of 2016, my dear childhood friend Francesco showed me a part of the region I had never visited before. The Valle dell'Orfento, a beautiful hike that took me from the lowest points along the river to the highest point overlooking the beautiful mountains, was an experience I'll never forget. In this video, I attempted to capture the essence of that...
Didn't see much in this video. Just had a coffee and close ups a walking around. Didn't see much of the market. Waste of time.
Hi Benny. I'm not sure there was much of a script to this video. The idea was to walk around in an unfiltered/unscripted way and capture moments as they happened to show folks what a genuine typical day looks and feels like in Sulmona. Had the title been "A Typical Day in Sulmona's Market" I could see your point - but it wasn't. I honestly do not understand your need to go in this direction and let us all know that it was a waste of your time. I wasted time replying ;) Enjoy your day, and happy trolling. :)
Gabrie sci nu zorr 😅, 👏.
Sulmona is such a beautiful village, full of life and energy. Those stairs are indeed quite slippery!
I think it's bigger than a village.
Che belleza mi ricorda tanto mío padre e i Amici cuando Parlavano sempre

Veramente interessante e soprattutto preparato l'intervistato
My grandfather was born there. My dad would shake his head most of the time when my mom spoke this dialect. Thanks for the video
THANK YOU!!!!! I have been searching for years for any kind of Pratolan dialect spoken! My family came from Pratola and the sound of this particular blend of Italian is so distinct and familiar to me! Reminds me of family, comforting, and to have heard it ever since i was a child! Thank you so much for publishing this.

Viva il popolo abruzzese!
Wow the autumn colours are so beautiful
Thanks for tasking the time to leave a comment, Linda! This ride brings back a lot of memories with my nonno and nonna, and when I'm not in Abruzzo, I often think of this very place! It's magical and photos and videos do not do it justice!
Very nice. I know those red shoes. They’ve left prints in Medford too.
