I ran up Orrest head before sun rise to take pictures. This film is the descent from the top all the way to where I was staying in Bowness, having completed The Lap ultra (75km) The sun rose at 6:47 and Windemere lake, which you normally get great views of, was covered in a blanket of mist

I ran from Macclesfield train station to Langley via the trail route from Macclesfield golf clup. I joined onto the Gritstone trail and followed it all the way outside Bollington. The day I did this run was when the Gritstone Grind trail race was taking place. I am kicking myself that I didn't take part :D

Recorded some of a half marathon trail run starting and ending at Dolgellau. The route involved more walking than running; especially the ascent of the steep shale fox path. The views were amazing, my favourite being the lakes cuddled by the mountain

Starting at Timbersbrook I follow the Gritstone trail path up to the top of the Cloud. I run down the other side and then along the by-pass route, through the woodlands to form a triangle. This was a mid week run after work, 17km in total (from Astbury Mere and finishing at Congleton bus station)

For the UTMB UTS 100m you descend the Daear Ddu path down Moel Siabod. Here is my nervious recce of it. Worse I will be doing it during the night! On the 3rd of August 2024 is the RunThrough sea to sky 53km ultra. Starting in Barmouth you go across the bridge and along the cycle path all the way to Dolgellau. You then ascend the mightly Cader Idris (893m high) and follow the ridge line and path all the way down to the coastal village of Llwyngwril. Ran from Leek to Rushton Spencer along a trail that used to be an old railway line. There is now a miniature railway that goes along some of Rudyard lake. I ran along the popular east coast on the way out and then along the east trail route on the way back. The route is mostly flat (especially the east side) but towards Rushton Spencer the route is not as groomed

I came 10th; 2nd in V35 age category. It felt a rollercoaster, in the zone with focussing on trip hazards. Lots of fun!

RunThrough Lyme Park 10k race. I came 16th place and 2nd in my age category (earning a £25 prize :D )

I came first place in the Llangollen 50k 2024 with a time of 5 hours 53 mins :) Unfortunately I didn't capture too much footage as I was focussing on the race

Running along to Sandstone trail from Tarporley to Delamere

Ran from outside Tarporely along the Shropshire union canal then onto the Sandstone trail to Beeston castle. I followed the route through Bulkeley Hill Wood and then diverted off the sandstone trail to go directly to Bickerton Hill. I did a circular around the walking area, coming back along Raw head. Walked with friends from Chirk train station via the chirk aquaduct along the canal, through 2 tunnel sections to Pontcysyllte aqueduct. From there we went along the Offa Dyke's path. I sheltered in the wind break on top of Moel Eilio (726m) until it became light and then ran along the ridge over Foel Gron and Foel Goch. I went down to the ranger's path and then slogged up to Moel Cynghorion. The route down was great; gentle fast descent all the way to Llanberis. Bonus, I filmed around Dolbadarn Castle
