Arnel Pineda fills really BIG shoes covering Steve Perry's voice,and I agree that he definitely sounds like Steve,but will never be Steve Perry obviously. The shoes he fills still keeps the 80's Journey music alive still today. Oh the memories back then are bitter sweet ones,and I know were all greatful Arnel keeps the music alive with his no doubt amazing talent to fill the shoes of Steve Perry's vocals.

I'm Filipino, Steve Perry's voice is really the best, is kind of complete and goes higher. Arnel's voice is different has its own taste. Steve was the heart but Arnel keeps the heart beating as one comment says in other videos.

I am curious what Steve’s opinion on Arnel is.

Arnel should go back on his former attire, with a long hair and dress like a real rocker . His present gesture looks like he's just inside the house. He should add more revitalizing look same as in early years in the band . That will make the audience more interesting every time he appear on stage.

But Ariel wow, that is a huge voice coming out from a petite giys that is astoundingnoonelse can give justice to those song after SP left but him. He gave life to that song that has been voice and his vocal technic too is spectacular.
