F1 Intelligence Playseat Review
Hello Everyone,
Last week I bought a F1 Intelligence Playseat. Since there aren't many video's out there in English. I decided to make a review to give some more information about the rig.
I hope it helps to answer your questions.

Why is your DD1 rattling so much? I am unsure why it is clicking so much. I could see some definite movement in the rig. Petals look secure but you aren’t pressing that hard to be honest. Thanks for the review.

What's it like packing or storing this away?
Thanks for the review. I noticed some rattling during the gameplay part of the video. Do you know where it's coming from? It sounds like it's coming from the coupling where the wheel attaches to the wheel base. I'm asking because you said earlier in the video that there wasn't any rattling or creaking and then seem to show the opposite.
The rattling is from the Fanatec DD1 Box. It’s when you put it on high force feedback with the on track effects on 80+ for example. You feel all the bumps of the road that’s why it does that. If you put on track effect on 0 you hear no rattling . Hope that answers your question :)
Does the weel and the pedels come with the Seat
No, you have to buy that separate :)
This thing looks huge. I went with the monkey driver seat. Much smaller footprint, elegant design, no flex, formula and gt postion.

The pedal plate may not flex but the seat sure does.
Do you get both mounts in the box
No only one mount

Without the 199 brackets it is also very solid! I haven’t changed it back to the sidemounts so in my opinion you don’t really need the 199 dollars brackets :)

From where can you buy the side mounts???
As far as I know They don’t sell it anymore
Hey mate, i send a message to Playseat because of that Side Mount what you talk about. They send me a message and say this: "We do not have any side mounts available for the Formula models. This because they are truly focused on F1 sim-racing...". So they dont have that.
Hey man thanks for the update. I didn't knew that. Back when I bought the seat I had to ask for it since they did not had it on their website. Guess they don't have it anymore then?😕

it wouldn't be my first choice in terms of simulators and you could get a Simlab simulator for half the price of this Playseat with much more functionality.

Hey! De Sidemounts zaten er niet bij. Ik heb die voor 199 extra aangeschaft bij de Playseatstore. Je moet daar even specifiek naar vragen dan kunnen ze dat voor je regelen aangezien je het niet op hun site kan vinden. Het ziet er wel heel tof uit en is ook erg stevig, maar heel eerlijk ook zonder die sidemounts is de plaat die je er standaard bij krijgt sterk genoeg om 100% FFB aan te kunnen. Ik speel zelf nu op 80% met die plaat en heb geen problemen😁
@@wiseoldm6n_official Topper! Bedankt voor je eerlijkheid. Vraagje, klopt het ook dat door die Sidemounts de wheelbase iets lager zit/ligt? Lijkt me dat door die plaat hij hoog komt te liggen? Waarom gebruik jij ze niet meer en gebruik je nu die plaat? Bedankt! Groetjes..
@@dexterdriessen1401 Klopt voor de sidemounts heb je een iets andere hoek qua afstelling, maar de ervaring blijft hetzelfde. Paar maanden terug ben ik verhuisd toen moest ik een deel van mijn playseat uit elkaar halen, zodat we hem naar beneden konden tillen. Bij het in elkaar zetten wilde ik toen de plaat erop zetten gewoon om te kijken hoe dat zou zijn. Dat beviel dus ook prima, want ik heb tot nu toe niet meer de tijd genomen om ze te wisselen😅 Het is dus niet, omdat de ene beter is dan de ander🙏
@@wiseoldm6n_official Ah top! Ik bestel ze gewoon mee. Super bedankt voor je hulp. Kom zelf nu van de standaard Playseat met een DD1. De flex begint me te irriteren. Deze setup zal een stuk beter zijn vermoed ik!

Thanks for the review, im planning to buy one soon, the Fanatec podium is it compatible with PS5, what pedal is that? And what glove that are you wearing?
you're welcome Fanatec podium is indeed compatible with PS5, Pedals are CSL elite + a Loadcell kit around 200 euro's for pedals. Gloves are Alpinestars Dune Motorcross. First week they felt bit tight but after that they are very nice work like a charm! I recently switched to the new Formula Clubsport V2.5 Steering wheel so you don't need gloves anymore :)

Playseat is 2500 euro + 200 euro side mounts + 2000 euro for podium wheel + csl pedals and load cell so about 4700 euro for all

Hoi ik heb even een vraagje: als jij op de stoel gaat zitten moet jij dan de hendel omhoog doen als je naar voren gaat met de stoel? Ik wel namelijk en als ik naar achteren wil dan moet ik de hendel wel naar achteren schuiven.
Hee man! Als ik de stoel voor het spelen af stel dan druk ik de hendel inderdaad omhoog zodat ik naar voren en achteren kan. Zodra ik hem dan loslaat zit alles stevig op zijn plek 👌
Ik ben al wel handig geworden met het instappen waardoor ik het stuurtje niet elke keer naar voren en achteren hoef te schuiven

Had ook nogen een vraagje.....waar heb jij de kabels langs lopen van je wielbase? Het is een top stoel alleen jammer genoeg niet iets om de kabels weg te werken.
What fanatec setup are you using?
I'm using the Fanatec DD1 Podium Edition 1800 euro from the top of my head. I have the CSL elite Pedals incl loadcell. those were 200 if I remember correct
Btw quick update on the metal plate. I tested that one as well with the DD1. No Flex and also very Solid! It is possible to skip the sidemounts as well if you wish 🙏😁👌

You have to buy the steering wheel sepparate. You can buy a different mount to get the TV closer to your playseat. As far as I know you cant mount the tv direct on this playseat

You have to ask them in a email so they can send you a payment link. For some reason you can't find it on their website

Do you mean the side mounts for the steering wheel? I've been testing the metal plate that comes with the rig. That one is Solid as well :D
@@wiseoldm6n_official I mean the clutch and extra paddles behind the wheel. Ur wheel came with it but i have to buy it seperate. Do you think its worth it? Do you use it often? Does it make a big difference? Thanks!
Do you know if the steering wheel plate can hold a CSL elite wheel base (v1.1)? I want to upgrade to a DD at some point, but immediately.
Yes, the wheel plate is compatible with all steering wheels from Fanatec, Thrustmaster and Logitec so you can buy any steering wheel before you decide to upgrade to a DD1

They will send you a mail back asking for your information so they can send it to you Recently I switched to the metalplate to test it. That works solid as well. So you could try that as well before you buy the side mounts :)
Which playseat did you have before?
It was called "F1 Playseat" Cost 949 - 1199 depending where you buy it

@@donvirgo The model that you linked to - I do not have any experience with but some say that it has a good amount of flex with the center mounted motor mount.
@@ruffrider6653 I heard something similar; that it's great for a Logitech, or Thrustmaster, however, when you start getting into the torque of Fanatec and Simucube, there's too much flex.
