Good work, I think your videos would benefit from a microphone. Nice looking load
Keep up the good work. Really enjoy the old TJ. Stay safe
All screwed up...get a scale stick and high pile stick
@@mjuberian This is an easy rough measurement with simple backyard tools to give a rough idea
Nice spruce and fir. I love my 562xp. And still love my 254xp. You need rear chains but so do I. 😊
I have the chains for the rear but that’s last option for the deep snow, trouble was log side to in front of both rears and hill is all rock with few roots, I have a 262xp here I used a bit but it dosent seem to leave the shop much anymore now I got the pair of 562s it’s hard to beat these new saws
@ I agree on new saws. Much easier on the hands with vibration and hard to believe how long a bar a 61cc saw will pull. The 254 is lighter for trimming brush. I remove the restriction from the filters. They put it in so it wouldn’t have more power than the 257. I also removed the exhaust baffle. It screams for a small light saw.
BTW. Thanks for the videos. It’s hard enough cutting wood without having to position cameras. Stay safe.
@@john2me707yea it’s time consuming but seem to get faster each time hopefully more to come. thanks for the support
Nice looking stand off wood 👍
It’s nice stuff, it should have been managed earlier, it’s alot of small stems and tight growth for the age of the trees
@ I just found your channel a couple weeks ago. It’s interesting content. Also nice to follow another Nova Scotian

Great to see some content from Nova Scotia!! I’m in Cape Breton.

I know what you’re saying i been there a lot against a logger 💪🏾💪🏾
Stock
I’ll have to try that.
Nice set up. From cape Breton and do some logging with a which, farm tractor and trailer. Kubota L4740 hauling a trailer full of wood. ua-cam.com/users/shorts4XVMb-r8dho?feature=share
Nice work.
good job.
Nice looking logs there. All fell nice and neat. Makes easy to hook chokers and bring together. Nothing like it! What part of NS are you in?

Good work, are you cutting off your own woodlot?
Yes I am cutting off land we own right now
Did a lot of this work in the '70s- '90s in central N.S. Saw of choice in those days were the Husky 161and 62 and Jonsered 630. Frozen fingers and toes in the winter and fly swarms in the summer....loved every minute of it!!
Really great setup. I love my 562xp MarkII. Ripper!
@@dereksstuff8395 the 562 is the best saw out there in my opinion
Pipe it then you'll have something
That 562 is a rippa 👍👍 Is it stock?
It’s stock but it’s a beast, I have a muffler mod 562 an I think this saw got more go but not as snappy
Time to chain the old girl up . Great video.
@@chipchaffee2416 Have the Ring chains on the front, I got a set of ice I could put on back but would hate to smash the drive line
We had a John Deere pole skidder and we found out we had better pulling power with the chains just on the back tires
I would imagine she would pull, only trouble I have is driving over side to logs or bigger roots next to the stump, when she’s pulling on just frozen ground the chains on the front hardly gets the front pointed in the right direction
Hello, would like to see more videos, I am retired still working. Me and my brother,He drives my truck and helps me in the woods.Steve from Nb
Yes for sure stay tuned for more im hoping I can get some good videos on the gear
Tire man has to eat too ! I did that one time , glad you finally got it 👍🏻
@@peteshields1448 At least it was in the yard and not down in some hole down in the woods

Thingamajig whatchamcallit maybe a whitepinedizzeldazzle!
That's a nice set up, how has the Valtra been for ya? For a farm tractor set up they seem to be the perfect set up for sure. Good size trailer as well!
@@ericsimp14This is a great little tractor very good on fuel and good luggable power and the swing around seat is a big bonus for the log trailer
