My first trip to Mombasa was on a Kenya Airways A310 back in the 90s.Unfortunately the very sam plane I flew on crashed a few years later. Back in those days I always made a note of the planes registration, this is how I know. Made me feel a bit creepy when I found this out!

great video, the male lions with the cubs was my favorite part. i like how it's just nature sounds in the background.

next time try to edit to include different places. no need for continuous video. but good job.

Tamu has not been seen since years on the field. After the ending filming of the last Big Cat Week episodes she was accepted in the Marsh pride, ruled by Notch. When the take over of februaty 2007 by Romeo and Clawed, she vanished with her two remaining cubs. Nobody on the field did see her.

In 2010, the BBC was filming part of "The Last Lions" in the Masai Mara, with Jonathan Scott, and Warren Samuel (the well known BBC Big Cat Week/Diaries cameraman). And it was Romeo and Clawded who take over tjhe Marsh pride . if i'm not wrong in february 2007. Since september 2011, Romeo and Clawed have been ousted, by 4 young strong males. Unfortunatly Romeo and Clawed don't survived.

I just want to thank you for your comment. I lived in Kenya for ten years. I've been to Fort Jesus and it broke my heart. I am writing some things on facebook about it and also showing this film. Amazingly I decided I would check some resources on it before I put it on facebook His-story is alive and thriving. Several sites didn't even mention slavery when recounting the history of Fort Jesus. Mbaya sana kweli.
