Hahahaha.I was carrying a Rolexs watch to the watchmaker which barely removed the cover t the original hydraulic attachments.This video of yours is a scam and plain bullshit to get clicks.Rolexs watches cannot be opened on such a misleading video and even with self-adhesive tape.Hahahahahaha

Problems: 1. If the watch is sealed from the fctory don't open it! 2. If the watch has never been opened, the caseback will be too hard to open with a simple piece of tape and a clipper. 3. If you don't have the right tools don't do it. When you are closing a watch (especially a sub) you need to apply a certain force to make it waterproof.

I don't recommend you do that. That means mean gasket now needs to be changed for a new and pressure test for any leaks. This is silly, to be honest.

As long as the gasket is in position and you tighten the case back carefully you should be fine.

Very handy now I'll be able to change the battery myself instead of sending it to Rolex , save me a fortune. 🙃
